Frustrated that his search for Ser Horas had not yet panned out, Daeron retreated temporarily to the Starling pavilions to change into more drab and inconspicuous garb, including a jaunty little hat that would somewhat conceal his tonsured scalp. He didn't need to look like a different man, just not to stand out so much. He assumed that's what might have gone wrong in his previous hunt. Besides, his next destination wasn't one that he had any desire of being known to attend. There were enough rumors about him, he didn't need more. Meeting up with Ser Addam outside the establishment he shares with him his most recent discovery concerning Esmerelle. "... and that's why we need to be careful. We should assume that we're not the only ones here looking for her and that they might want to murder her before she can testify in public about her actions."

The night was late and Lord Tyrell feast had ended, but Addam's work had just start. The hooded man was still on the loose and poised a threat to the safety of those present. Returning to his tent, Addam filled a pouch full of gold and set off to the Perfumed Lady to meet his cousin. As they entered the establishment, Addam surveyed the room, hoping to find the red headed man that match the description, but could only keep his attention on a well-proportioned Lysene girl. With one last longing glace, Addam informed the matron of their needs, a private room and show Esmerelle. looking for the red head: 3d6-4 4Daeron gonna take the lead, I'm just here for the assist and the bribe.

A falcon pursuing two rabbits will catch neither.Focused only on one of their quarries, Daeron spent no time just yet looking for the red-headed "noble" or their targets other than Esmerelle. Seeing that something had caught Ser Addam's eye, he flashes some coin on the counter to the madam to keep her attention as well. "Yes, as my friend here mentioned we're interested in an Esmerelle. He's due to marry when we return from the tourney and is looking for a good night with a beautiful Dornish woman before being bound to his own 'comely' betrothed. We've heard from friends that she's simply the best dancer in Gardenton and we must have her."

With enough coin, a "private performance" is easily arranged, with more than enough time to enjoy the show, enjoy the girl and asking her pointed questions. Probably best done in that order if one intends to do all of it. And with her looks and obvious flexibility, getting what most people would pay for appears quite tempting, and possibly someone might ask questions if the two knights does not partake in what every other young man would do.

Lust is not Daeron’s defining vice, but goddamn he’s only human. He enjoys every moment with Esmerelle and permits Ser Addam the same pleasures. It had been a trying week and they both needed the “stress” relieved.
Once their carnal business had concluded Daeron moved over to the door and turned to the dancer.
So Esmerelle, what can you tell me of your other business ventures?

"What?" She seems surprised, and just a little bit scared by Daeron's words and actions, he might not notice any of that though, most men would find it difficult to keep their eyes on her face.

Holding up his open hands to show that he’s not hiding a dagger, Daeron decides to lay some cards on the table. Time was of the essence and they didn’t have time to play games.
“We mean you no harm, but we do need some answers. Now.
We need you to tell us everything you can about your other employer and the tasks that they’ve been asking you to perform. There are men looking to silence you, and I doubt they’re intending to buy it if you catch my meaning.”

"What are you talking about, ser?" She seems sincere in appearing to not have any clue as to what he speaks of, but even naked and vulnerable, someone with the skill to fool all of the Reach must certainly be capable of not betraying her secrets so easily.

"We have one set of evidence that connects you to a series of crimes and murders and another set that pins you as the source of an unwise slander against Bittersteel.Neither of these things are a recipe for a long and happy life, especially as a common Dornishwoman living in the Reach, but we can deliver you to safer havens if you're willing to testify to Lord Tyrell that Lord Blackwood set you up to slander Bittersteel at the dance."

"But I have done no such thing, ser!" She pleads, seemingly innocent, but Daeron knows better.
Technically, you're crushing her by simple intrigue, so she tells the truth, but you critfailed a certain test, so I'm stringing you along for the ride.

Lucky I'm here to save the day and I have a little more concrete evidence against her. Assuming Status 4 is enough for a simple intrigue? Dornish Dancer Convince: 4d6k3+2 12 Attractive Reroll (Dancer): 1d6 1 Total:12 Objective: Info on her relation to the hooded man plot.
Addam thoroughly enjoyed the show. He finally understood how so many good, Andal lords were able to be seduced into joining their houses with snakes. When it was his time to take her, Addam merely waved Esmerella away. He had no intention of bedding the whore so soon after his cousin, and besides, the serving girl was still on his mind. Raising his hand to silence Daeron, two things had become clear in Addam's mind. That Esmerella might not be this so called "Falcon", and that Daeron didn't believe her. He knew his cousin had a temper, and soon Esmerella's pleads could turn to screams, something to would spell disaster for the both of them. "I am sorry for my friend's brash demeanor. He can be a little over zealous at times. You say you know nothing of the slander against Ser Aegor. While he might not believe you," nodding to his cousin. "I certainly do, but that is not the only rumor we have heard about you. By now you have surely heard of this so called hooded man. He has paid people to do some very bad things. We managed to track down some of his associates, one of them being you. So I wonder, were you really being honest when you told my friend that you knew nothing of the crimes this man had committed."

He gazes upon her with suspicion, not convinced by her argument, but also canny enough to know that rapidly changing the topic of conversation could catch the subject off guard.
"And what can you tell me of your connections to the Hooded Man?"
*Ninja'd* Go with Addam's rolls unless you need a higher status for Simple Intrigue.

"There are many men visiting the lady, ser, some prefer not to be known to visit and hoods tends to be their apparel of choice, we exercise discretion here, and usually it is best for us not to know" She wraps a blanket around herself for some comfort, and imaginary armor of sorts. "My job is easier when I know not if the client has a wife that might take offense to his actions, or if the coin he spends means that his child goes hungry."
"I know not where he might be now, or where he came from, I prefer not to know what he might have done, but neither am I a fool"

Daeron's tone is one of increasing frustration, especially after his inability to even find Ser Horas. He wasn't going to leave the Perfumed Lady without some new knowledge or leads into his investigation. "Certainly your ignorance can't be that willful. What can you share with us?"
BoV should make this another simple intrigue to see whatever we can get out of her through gentle persuasion. Dornish Dancer-Persuade (Convince)+Assist: 6d6k4 23
