Ser Aladore is found very much alive, but not in a good shape, he has been beaten, his left eye swollen shut, his doublet shredded and he has cuts, welts and bruises from fist and cudgel.
"Better get him to the maester's tent" Gormon states in the manner of a man who merely needs to suggest something for it to be obeyed, though Balon knows that his suggestions are open for others to offer a differing opinion. "Along with the rest of you" He examines himself, the bolts only glanced off his plate, he appears less sure of what the blow to his arm might have done, but apparently deciding that he could safely wait to have it checked. "I would have to be Ser Daemon to take on all of these by myself, but to make them talk, that I should manage on my own."

Addam looked at the bolt in his shoulder as Lord Peake suggested their next course. " A maester's care would be nice right about now. Balon and I will escort Ser Aladore there at once. I leave the care of his captures in your capable hands my lord." Cutting off his bidding, Addam helped the knight to his feet offering the use of his horse for the ride back to camp. "Come My lord, its time to take you home."
At the maester's tent, Addam will refuse any treatment until both Ser Aladore and Balon had been seen to first. The people loved a gallant hero who puts the needs of other before his own, and he had no intention of denying them their hero this day.

"On yer knees!" Balon shouted to those smart enough to surrender. "Hands on your head." He stood watching over them and began to take big breaths in through his nose and out his mouth as he wound down from combat. My first real kill. Feels good. He wasn't counting Ser Walton. Without taking his eyes off the sellswords he asked, "Is everyone all right?" He'd taken a hard blow from a mattock but nothing that wouldn't be healed up in a day's time.
Balon volunteered to watch the prisoners as the other three got Ser Aladore. Thankfully he was alive though he doubted he'd have much info on who was behind his kidnapping. "With your permission my lord I'll ensure the prisoners are secured within your encampment before being tended to by the maesters." Balon didn't doubt the skill or competency of the retainers they'd brought be he'd rather be safe than sorry.
House Peake's maester tent?
Edit: Addam ninja posted on me.

No worries I’ll edit my post when I get back from work to reflect your request to go with Peake and I’ll take Aladore back myself.

Gormon does not comment on Balon's desire to stay to secure the prisoners, he goes straight to their interrogation, he has them separated, learning that they were hired by a hooded man with black stubble, an otherwise most nondescript man, but clearly one that knew what he was doing, and he had plenty of gold to pay. They were given a Dragon a man in advance, with the promise of much more when they had done their job, Gormon takes the purse and tosses it to Balon. The hooded man wanted to know where the Florents had learned about the rumor of Ser Daven Bracken and Bittersteel, Ser Aladore had been very adamant that the Florents had no idea, Lord Reynald had in fact diverted most of his resources towards finding the Falcon's identity, but she seems to have evaded every attempt at unveiling her. Ser Walton that Balon had killed was not satisfied with that answer, nor where most of the men, so they tried to beat out a different sort of answer out of him, he had eventually suggested that it might have been Lord Alliser Levalle seeking to ingratiate himself with the camp of King Daeron. Ser Bronn, the surviving knight thinks that Ser Aladore merely guessed, having been brought to the point where a man would say anything to make the beatings stops. Gormon agrees with that assessment outside anyone but Balon's hearing, though finds Lord Alliser's possible leanings somewhat troubling. That man is capable of making things difficult. However, Alliser is inconsequential compared to his liege lord, and here they have a golden opportunity to sway him towards their cause. Best not waste it. Back in the maester's tent, the Florents are overjoyed to see their heir returned to them, cannot thank their heroes enough and promises that they are their very best friends from now on, with all that this entails. Lord Rowan is less enthusiastic about how this turned out, but he stands by his word and freely offers the promised reward. The captives are handed over to Lord Tyrell's men and dragged off to the dungeons.
Treating injuries and wounds can be done by the very best maesters (plural), so 7d6k5+4 for healing those, the rich and powerful have strings they can pull. Rewards: To Addam and Balon: +5 Disposition from Florents. +1 Glory, +1 Chivalry. Standing offer to join Florents as sworn swords. To Addam: +2 Disposition from Rowans (They don't like Balon much). Standing offer to join the Rowans as sworn sword. To Balon: 12 GD from their payment purse. Rewards that Addam gets, because of DP burning, he gets it all to himself if he wants, but he may share as much as he likes with Balon (except where noted), Gormon and Bittersteel let's the PC's have their day in the sun. +2 Glory +5 coffers (1000GD) from Lord Rowan. +5 coffers (1000GD) from Lord Florent. May decline a bounty to instead be instead be owed a favor or some other boon from the lord offering it (can decline both gold prizes for being owed favors from both), can be translated into +2VP in a relevant complex intrigue or other narrative results. Lord Rowan's favors will not be extended to Balon. May attempt simple intrigue (convince) on Lord Florent (ID 19 because Head of House applies) to make him lean Blood/Fire, for +1 Blood/Fire, +1 per DoS. (Meaning you get +1 even on simple failure), he might leave it to Balon or Gormon (Bittersteel will defer the task to Gormon), assists are allowed (+2 from Bittersteel, +2 from Gormon), Addam still gets any fire/blood points won, to share with Balon (or not). Waiting until fatigue and injuries no longer applies is allowed (Gormon didn't take any, so he can do it now)
Thread can be opened for other PC's wanting to come visit the infirmary once the NPC lords have taken their leave.

As soon as the news had reached Titus he rushed to the infirmary tent where his brother was kept. They say a man can not be defined by any one single action and that was surely proven true today.
It irked him no small amount that just hours before Titus had to give up his partaking in the search along cousin Gormon to attend the lists. Had he lingered he hadn’t only been part of the daring rescue but he would, just as Balon and Ser Addam have hade husband first taste of true combat, along Lord Gormon and Bittersteel no less. Not the glorified sport he’d left to attend.
But the news of the rescue had also carried how both Balon and Ser Addam had been grievously injured in the attempt. Despite having fought his brother in a duel of honour just the day before, Titus hurried to see to his well-being.
Making his way into the tent he addresses Balon directly, mixture of pride and concern.
“Are you all right?”

The talk does turn to politics, with Bittersteel being the most aggressive and Gormon taking great care to appear much more reasonable and talking the sort of language one such as Lord Florent can best relate with. They do not succeed in getting themselves the fiery convert that they had hoped, he is unlikely to actively promote their cause, a pity considering just how much impact he could have if so. But even if the voice of the Brightwater Keep will not be raised high for Ser Daemon, even it's whispers will make things much easier. Putting Fire in the Fox's eyes: 8d6k5+6 20 Like seriously....okay I've seen worse rolls, but huh? 1 DoS for 2 Fire points, but Lord Florent still Turns Fire.

After hearing about their daring rescue, Daeron rushes over to the maester's tent to see his friends, bringing with him some small comforts to make their brief stay less miserable. He also had on his mind Laena's words concerning those who found Ser Aladore first, but after looking at the injuries suffered by the rescuers he doubted that that any of them were in cahoots with the kidnappers. However, he hoped that he could discover more clues from Addam's discovery of the kidnappers.
Sitting next to his cousin's cot after trading pleasantries he queries.
"Congratulations on finding Ser Aladore, your deeds are a testament to House Velaryon and the Kingsbridge Companions! If I might be the first to ask, how did you find the brigands who took him captive?"

A Day of Heroes, Healing, Maester's Tent: 7d6k5+4 31With the prisoners secured Balon had gone to the maester's pavilion for treatment. As he sat shirtless on a cot his brother burst into the tent, “Are you all right?” Titus asked. Balon smiled, "Don't worry little brother, only the good die young." he winced as the maester sewed another stitch. Maester's healing: 7d6k5+4 26 Injuries should be all gone by tomorrow The exact split of bounty rewards is still under consideration, but Balon is guaranteed 500 gold for Lord Rowan's bounty and +1 glory.
Addam smiled with joy at the sight of Titus still caring for his brother's well being. It was good to see that their disagreement hadn't driven them completely apart. The smile soon turned into a sly grin at Daeron question. "I guess we can thank my inability to hold my drink for the swift rescue. When Balon finally woke me up, the sun was still rising and Gardenton was crawling with men looking for Ser Aladore. I am a tad shamed to say that I did not join in the search straight away, but went back to my tent for a few more hours rest. When I finally risen, I was surprised to hear that he had still not be found. So dawning my mail, I decided to look elsewhere." What followed next was a grand tale of how he found the hideout in the Rosewood. How he crashed into Balon running through the camp. How the bandits heard them coming and where in formation waiting for them. and finally, how Balon and him held the line after their charge as Lord Gorman and Bittersteel struck at the bandits flank.

Seeing that Balon was in health and his regular self Titus turns to Addam. “Ser Addam, had I known I would be sparring with a hero of the realm I would have taken you up on your offer yesterday morning!”
He is interrupted as young, fierce looking knight with proud, Valyrian features who he quickly recognises as Ser Daeron Waters enters.
Introducing himself he proceeds to listen to Ser Addams story.

Roland called on the injured Ser Addam, the hero of the hour.
He listened attentively to the daring tale, impressed at his friend's valour. There was a brief, somber moment to the exchange too.
"You have done yourself and our company proud today Ser Addam. The first man I slew was from horseback with a lance - it changes a man to take a life, particularly at sword's length."
With a heavy heart, Roland quietly warned Ser Addam of Lord Levalle's insinuations that this was some rebel plot to stage a kidnapping.
"You know I am no rebel, no friend to 'The Cause', but I will not, cannot see your brave deeds dragged in to a political quagmire."
"I have duties to attend to, but Hugh will be at your disposal if you have need of him. If you drag yourself to the dance the ladies of court are always impressed by heroic scars."
He wasn't sure if Addam would catch his attempts to leave on a lighter note before the milk of the poppy eased him to rest.

Roland swallowed his distaste for Balon's crude manner and treacherous, murderous ways to at least praise the man's service alongside Ser Addam.
"I hear you fought well beside my companion in arms. The four of you did a fine thing today."
This much was true, and Roland did not, could not, believe the conspiracy Lord Levalle had hinted at. It would take overwhelming proof, or "proof", for him to be convinced of such from Ser Addam, although given the rumours swirling around Bittersteel and Balon's villainy such seemed possible from them, with Addam an innocent patsy. Still, he was a long way from even entertaining such an idea.
[OOC: just adding this in here as Balon confirmed his presence and didn't want to snub a noble deed, thanks!]

"And if I had know you were capable of putting the beat down on Ser Simon, I might not of offered." He said with a friendly smile.
Roland's hushed warning of Alliser's insinuations made Addam laugh. "Well then, I guess I'll have to go visit Lord Alliser on the morrow then. A real shame that he has to bring politics into what sound be a joyous occassion, but then again, he probably just mad he no longer Lord Reynald favorite anymore."
Motioning to one of the camp stools "Never the less, come and stay awhile. How did your tilt go?"
