The sky had cleared, but Roland's heart was clouded by the rumours swirling around House Cordwayner. He did his best to set such concerns aside, along with the hair shirt he now bore in penance and focused on Lord Darklyn, who he had observed in some of the earlier rounds. While the man was not among the tournament's most notable jousters he had displayed valour to win through to the sixth round. As in all his previous matches, Ser Roland dipped his lance to Lady Janna Hightower before spurring his mount towards his foe. D8 R6 Awareness (Tournaments): 5d6k3 11PR: 21 AR: 10 Health: 12/21

No man have been willing to take a bet against Ser Roland winning this match, nevertheless, Lord Eddard's chances are at least as good as Ser Vardis' facing Ser Dennis Hightower, meriting caution.

The showmanship of earlier rounds was set aside for now, Roland simply doing his best to strike Lord Darklyn's shield firmly and drive him to the earth. Despite the distractions that had troubled him, Roland opened with an excellent pass. Perhaps the sin are with me fully now that I have confessed my sins.D8 R6 P1 N,EF,Agg1;SiS;CyB: 7d6k4+9 32 6d6k4+1 14 6d6k4 15PR: 21 -> 20 (Aggressive 1) AR: 10 Health: 12/21
