Ser Franklyn is surely a level of quality above Ser Theon Goldstag.

Fortunately for Ser Donnel, he had rode his poorest pass against weaker opposition. The veteran champion opened a commanding lead already after the first pass. R5 P1 N, HiS; SiS; CyB: 5d6k3+8 19 6d6k4-3 17 4d6 17PR: 20 Health: 12/12 AR: 10

Ser Donnels first pass was good, great in fact. His opponent missed him cleanly, and he himself got a solid hit in. However, the quality of his opponent was apparent, and ser Donnel got nervous. For his second round, his lance barely hit his opponent, and he seems to be more interested in staying in his own saddle, and less interested inshowing any form of flair in his riding. Almost as if scared! Round 5 Vs Franklyn frey Pass 2 Noble: 8d6k4+6 21PR:21 Health:9/9 SiS: Round 5 Vs Franklyn frey Pass 2 Stay in saddle: 6d6k4 15

Lances splintered in the air as both knights rode a solid pass, even if Ser Donnel had the lead. Some seasoned observers leaned forward in their seats, curious at Ser Donnel's unusually prudent approach. R5 P2 N, HiS; SiS; CyB: 5d6k3+8 24 6d6k4-3 18 4d6 16 - 1 DoS PR: 20 Health: 12/12 AR: 10

Ser Franklyn's lance was well placed, but his risky tactics finally proved his undoing! As shaky as Ser Donnel had been, today would not prove his undoing and he joined his son in the sixth round. Ser Donnel almost jumps from his saddle in relief. To be eliminated on such a poor day would be a further dishonor to this days poor dealings.
Ser Donnel helps Franklyn Frey up, he was a good opponent, and not to blame for Ser Donnels failings. "Well jousted Ser." Ser Donnel proclaims as he aids Franklyn up. Patting him on the back.
