Objective: Pay himself to freedom. Intrigue Defense 10 (+2 because act, -2 from frustration) DR 6 Composure: 3/9 (1 frustration) Bargain: 6d6k4+2 22 is 3 DoS for 12 influence, -2 from DR means 10 goes through, at -5 composure you'll be needing to take two frustration (for -4 to ID). You could take your chances, but you'll be needing at least two more tests to defeat him, and he is almost certain to knock you out wit his next action. So you might want to see if you could yield yourself to a bigger bribe or something.

Daeron slides his sword back into its scabbard.
"Outside. Now."
Yielding in favor of a larger bribe, but on the condition that its negotiated outside of the onlooking crowd.

"If that's what you want"
The man apparently recognizing the greed in Daeron's eyes, but judging there to be no danger of that sword to be used. He fingers a heavy looking purse up until now well concealed by his cloak.

Once outside the inn Daeron shamefully gives into his worst nature and takes the bribe that he had no intention of taking. As much as he fought it, his corrupt, but royal, blood held sway still. At least that's how he assuaged his guilt.
"Get out of here and find a different inn to stay in tonight. You can't be seen as a free man for a while, and if you are it's because you 'escaped my grasp'."
Scowling Daeron wasn't happy with the outcome, nor was he entirely convinced by the man's story, but that didn't stop him from stomping off back towards the Starling pavilion.

The man nods and quickly disappears into the night, what is the worth of the honor and integrity of a knight?
Seven Dragons, Four Moons and ten stags.
