After completing his second tilt of the day, Aerion makes his way to the markets. He's spent the better part of the previous day to himself, and today he wanted to get some air. If he was honest with himself he also wanted to get a little of the fanfare he'd likely get from anyone who had seen his stellar efforts that day, unhorsing both Bloodraven and even Prince Maekar in spectacular fashion.
Cheers of "Ser Aerion!" and other pleasantries greet him from some of the more bold small folk, and a few of the nobles as well. His smile is genuine and he's in one of the best moods he's had in a while.
He walks down a side street, past a small stall whose wares looked to be expensive silks and fabrics. Never one not to appreciate a fine outfit, he makes his way to the merchant woman and asks who is the best tailor in the city for fine gentlemen's garb. She rattles on about a few of the other competitors, before offering her own services. Something about no better quality materials. Before long, he's commissioned two suits from her, one a fine white and green suit of a Myrrish silk fit for a king for the moonlight dance, and the other a new outfit for the ending ceremonies.
He also finds his way to the shop of Master Jasper Blackburn, a huge man with arms almost as big as Aerion's legs. Known for his exceptional quality and attention to detail, and the craftsman who forged Aerion's Dragon hilted longs word, he knew the man for years.
"Master Aerion, a pleasure as always. I assume you're here to pay me my winnings?" he asks, referring to the sword he made him.
"I still have not finished my search, but I fear in the end I will have to pay up. No sword short if Valyrian steel has matched in quality." he says with a smile, and a hand nonthreatening touching the sword on his belt.
"The boar spear was a thing of beauty too, if not a little awkward to handle. But that's on the welder, I was always more suited to long blades." he adds, not wanting to insukt the man.
"That is why I am here. I want your expertise once again. A new suit of plate, the finest you've ever made, and preferably in not so much time. I expect it will take months, but if it could take weeks, that would be better."
The young knight bows slightly, a true sign of respect to one of low birth, telling of the respect the man has for his work." But you are the master, and I know you will take exactly the required time to make it perfect."
The master is quick to nod and say that it will get done as soon as possible, and then proceeds to measure Aerion again, making notes and scribbling on a small book of stark white pages.
Once his time at the blacksmith is finished, at the Master's suggestion, he makes his way to what he was informed to be the best horse venders in the city. Introducing himself and Ser Aerion of Houses Starkwood and Targaryen, they are quick to show him some of their finest horses. He inspects a few of them and says that he'll send a messenger along soon with his selection.

This thread is open to anyone wanting to meet with Aerion at any of these locations, or elsewhere in transit.
I'll also be using this for Aerion to learn about some of the events he's missed in the last day and a half (Balon & Ashara, Ser Otho, etc.)
