Mikel had not started his morning as early nor with the same methods as he had the day before. He slept as late as he could before having to rise and prepare for the joust. His head did not feel as bad as it had yesterday but now that he was awake the dull throbbing had already begun, though it had probably never stopped. He saw a pouch laying on the table beside his bed and opened it, seeing milk of the poppy within. I will take it when I leave for the field. He decided against any exercise or drill and instead ate and drank then did his best to loosen and stretch his body. He took of his horse before allowing the squire to assist in putting on his armor then made his way at a slow and steady gait to the quintains where he better warmed his horse and took to practicing with the lance until he was up.
The milk of the poppy had done a wonderful job of masking the pain. Since he woke thoughts had swirled in his head. I really shouldn't be doing this. The thought ran wild in his head in a variety of forms and images. As he became proactive the thoughts were less persistent and finally when he took his place with Lord Perwyn Ambrose across from him all those thoughts fell away and all that existed was the man across the way. He saluted that man then waited for the signal to commence.

Lord Perwyn salutes his opponent, though in renown he is overshadowed by his younger brother.
Animal Handling 3, Ride 1. Endurance 3 Fighting 4, Lance 1 Destrier Full Plate
Goes noble, may opt for some risky tactics to maybe snatch a draw.

*1st Pass*
Maneuvers: Braced, Noble, Heightened Stakes Passive Animal Handling: 16 (12 +2 Ride + 2 Tourney Knight) AR:9 (Half Plate fitted) Health: 12/12 Damage: 7 (ANH +1, +2 Charge, +1 Courser) - Noble = Damage 4 * 2 DoS = 8
D5 - R2 - Joust v. Lord Ambrose: 7d6k4+3 20 (+2 Tourney Knight, -2 Braced, +3 ANH) D5 - R2 - Joust v. Lord Ambrose: 5d6k3+3 18 (+3 Braced) D5 - R2 - Joust v. Lord Ambrose: 5d6k4 21
When the horn was blown his mount sprung forward and he searched for his placement, his lance was firmly couched and found its mark.
*2nd Pass*
Maneuvers: Braced, Noble, Heightened Stakes Passive Animal Handling: 16 (12 +2 Ride + 2 Tourney Knight) AR:9 (Half Plate fitted) Health: 12/12 Damage: 7 (ANH +1, +2 Charge, +1 Courser) - Noble = Damage 4 * 4 DoS = 16
D5-Joust-R2- Joust v. Lord Ambrose - Braced, Noble, Heightened Stakes: 7d6k4+3 25 - 4 DoS
(+2 Tourney Knight, -2 Braced, +3 ANH) D5-Joust-R2- SiS v. Lord Ambrose: 5d6k3+3 21 (+3 Braced) D5-Joust-R2- Catch Breath v. Lord Ambrose: 5d6k4 16
After they failed to unhorse one another each rider prepared himself then rode forward again. Mikel remained oblivious to everything but the point of his lance.
[OOC - Should be good given what we worked out via OOC thread and on here. Thank you for all the patience and assistance! Original role (poorly labeled) is pass one on top, second set of rolls (properly labelled) is pass two]

Lord Ambrose rides a noble course, but can do no more than strike a glancing blow. Ser Mikel conquers the stupor from the milk of the poppy to place his lance well, but his lordly opponent keeps his seat well and wheels for another pass. He was well behind now and knew it - he'd have to ride boldly in the second pass if he was to have any chance of taking the match. R2 P1 Noble, Stay in Saddle: 4d6k3+3 13 4d6k3 14- 0 DoS on tilting roll Passive Ride: 13 AR: 10 Health: 9/9 [OOC: I think the narrator is understandably requiring techniques to be noted in orokos roll so we might need to continue to pass two as you won't benefit from techniques not called out in Orokos]

Also, link rolls into IC post. But proper labeling (charge, stay in saddle etc) is generally needed plus Heightened Stakes is something you'll need to declare* before rolling. Braced is consistent with what you actually did in the rolls, but noble and HS can't apply here. You may chose to only deal half damage as per noble style though.
*generally you can pre-empt by saying something like will do HS if opponent is worse at riding than such and so.

[OOC: thanks boss, have tweaked the IC post above and will adopt riskier tactics for the second pass as suggested]

Also, milk of the poppy removes the -1D entirely, no halving of the dices or silly things.

1. If you edit things, you need to make a new post declaring that you did. 2. You should have kept your original round 1 actions and rolls, new rolls would be for round 2. 3. Lord Ambrose can only stay in his saddle IF he goes Braced, Defensive and gets 3 6's, and even then he's so far behind on DoS that he'll lose, so unhorsed on round 2.
Destrier and Full Plate for ransom.
