Roland had keen observed many of the previous day's matches, and his knowledge of the tournament circuit had given him a reasonable reckoning of his next opponent. To the best of his memory, the most impressive thing about the man were his glorious whiskers. The man was quick with japes and made fine company, but was not counted among the notable jousters present. He sat atop his new black destrier, Duty, trying to remember if the man would employ any unorthodox tactics. Lord Bushy is known for his wit, less so for his skill in the saddle where he is considered to be largely unremarkable, and only a madman would bet against Ser Roland in this tilt.
Animal Handling 3, Ride 1. Endurance 3 Fighting 4, Lance 1 Destrier Full Plate
Hopeless situation, he does Noble. Although whether he'll just do his part, resigned to the inevitable or take risks in the hope of getting the required DoS for a draw or perhaps a fluke victory I'll leave to his puppeteer. Going braced and aim for shield is also legitimate if he just wants to aim for honorable defeat.

With a dip of his lance to Lady Janna Hightower, Roland set off. Roland's blow was well placed by the standards of many men, but much more poorly than he had aimed yestedary despite the leverage from standing high in the saddle R2 P1 Show-off, HiS, EF Fighting (lance): 7d6k4+8 22 - 2 DoS, TN 12 for Lord Busy to Stay in Saddle Passive Animal Handling (Ride): 20 HP: 12/12 AR: 10 [OOC: delighted if another PC is willing to help out here!]

Let's go for not getting unhorsed R2P1 Noble Braced: 5d6k3+1 15 0 DoS Stay in saddle R1P1: 4d6k3+3 17 Pass
Lord Loren was no fool. He knew his chances of victory were next to zero. If the gods had dedicated it was his time to exit the lists then there was no finer opponent to do so then Ser Roland. With a salute of his lance, he charged his way down the list. His lance merely glancing against Roland's shield, but he had managed to remain atop his horse.

Lord Bushy's defensive ploy only encouraged Roland's extravagant style, which found greater purchase at the second time of asking. He was no Longthron yet, it was true, but he was improving. Passive Animal Handling (Ride): 20 HP: 12/12 AR: 10 R2 P2 Show-off, HiS, EF Fighting (lance): 7d6k4+8 26 - 3 DoS = TN 15 to stay in the saddle, Lord Bushy's helmet removed. Can retire for +1 chivalry to both or continue with 1/2 AR. [OOC: thanks! I'll try to help out in other threads.]

[He'll yield if he keeps his saddle, I'll assume that this was aim for shield as he could't even theoretically threaten a stay in saddle roll with max result of 19]

Lord Bushy kept his saddle with aplomb, riding as if he were Redtusk or Ser Donnel in that pass. R2 P2 Stay in Saddle TN 15: 4d6k3+3 20

Lord Loren is no Ser Garth Redwyne, and rides over to congratulate Ser Roland on his victory while stroking his moustache.
Full+Destrier for ransom +1 chivalry.
