Joust Round 1 VS Lord Martyn Stackhouse with aggressive 3: 8d6k4+9 30 9dmg/DOS Rectifying Aggressive charge round 1: 1d8 3 Reducing the result by 3 to 27 Still 2 DoS, no change. Passive Animal Handling with aggressive :18+1+2-3=18 HP:9/9 AR:11
Ser Donnel rides out on his meticulously cleaned stallion. Stormy had been his companion for many long years, and age was showing on the both of them. However, with advanced age comes experience. Ser Donnel is efficient at what he does. He lifts his visor to honor Lord Tyrell, he lifts his lance to honor the crowd, then he lowers them both, as he looks over at the knight opposed him. This is a personal challenge, to lose this would not only dishonor him, it would dishonor the memory of Lord Hightower. That cannot happen. As the charge goes Ser Donnel aims in for a hard hit.

Lord Martyn Stackhouse lived for tournaments, a specialist at the joust, he knows full well that Ser Donnel would win most of the time, but he may have a trick or two up his sleeve all the same.
Uh scratch that, this one is special.

Lord Martyn takes a little less risk given how much the first strike hurt. Ser Donnel may be gaining a small advantage, but he is not about to give up just yet. High in Saddle, SiS, CyB: 5d6k3+9 20 6d6k4-3 18 4d6-2 151 DoS, stays in saddle. Health: 8/12 (2 injures) AR: 10 Passive Ride 21

No damage taken, no need to roll Catch Breath Joust Round 3 Braced and noble with heightened stakes VS Lord Martyn Stackhouse: 7d6k4+4 22Passive Animal Handling=21 HP:9/9 AR:11 Stay in saddle vs Martyn Stackhouse Round 3 if needed: 6d6k4+2 18* Heightened stakes and braced evens out, so it ends at 18.
Ser Donnel is not satisfied with a minor victory, he will attempt to knock his opponent out of the saddle. So for his last round he needs to change his tactic. He keeps still in the saddle until the last second, before he launches his lance at his opponents shield, risking both of their seating, in a gambit to win. His lancestrike is sadly poor by his standards, but he manages to keep his footing easily enough.

Lord Martyn's third pass is a horrible performance by his own standards, not only does his lance miss spectacularly, he fails to keep his balance and falls up after several seconds of fighting the invetiable. Noble, Stay in Saddle: 5d6k3+5 11 6d6k4-2 11Donnel gets ransom for Destrier and Full Plate, +1 chivalry, +1 glory.

Ser Donnel bows in respect to Lord Tyrell, then he raises his arm to the crowd, before he sets off towards his tent. "That was a horrid performance by me." He tells his squire. "The Father saw justice indeed. Go get the ransom, I won't gift it back to him after what he said."
As soon as his squire leaves, ser Donnel takes off his armor, tenderly touching the spots where bruises have started to appear."
