It was almost time to get prepared for Lord Peake's ball, but Aladale was still preoccupied with the outcome of this morning's talk with Lady Johanna. What if he was wrong and Ser Quentyn Ball never really had any interest in House Meadows, but wanted to secure the help of Lord Marq Durwell? He doubted that this was his sole motivation, but given the mysteries surrounding the man, he wanted to find out more about him anyway.
And so, Aladale strolled the market, talking with various merchants and tailors ostensibly to buy materials for the night's event. And while indeed coins switched hands from time to time, Aladale never received any textiles for his costume was already back at the Levalle pavillion waiting for him...
