In general, we hope that it is unnecessary with rules, but sometimes reminders may be needed, and therefore, we do expect everyone to behave. This list is not conclusive.
-All players should be at least 18 years of age, due to our Mature Content Policy. There is no room for exceptions.
-Harassment and targeting players out-of-character is poor form and unacceptable, and similarly no harassment based on racism, sexism, or other prejudice will be acceptable on that level. We should act as a community.
-Metagaming is a sticky topic, but we will have a relatively lax policy regarding it. Making decisions based on some out-of-character information to drive the plot is fine, but there are grounds that it is not acceptable: Using information gained out-of-character to punish or target other player characters, or to avoid consequences of a character's own actions. If you feel you are the target of metagaming, do not hesitate to bring it to the attention of the staff.
-Not everyone is introduced to this setting and series by the books, and some people are not fully aware of all that has happened in the canon. We are playing in a period that precedes the books, but some things that are revealed might be constituted as spoilers regardless. Keep this in mind. In OOC discussion, try to keep spoilers constrained to a minimum or in their own threads.
-While we are allowing multiple characters per e-mail account, you should only play one character at a time per story. Attempting to get around this is unacceptable. If it's a matter of shared IPs or the like, please let us know ahead of time and be open with the information.
-Everything is based on trust. Break that trust with the staff or your other players and it will be difficult to earn again.
