"Aerion!" Addam had hoped he would see his friend today. It had been many months since the two had last spoke. Lord William and Lord Leo were old friends, and it was only natural that their squires would be too. He grasped the bastard forearm in a firm handshake with a wide grin on his face. "Its good to see you again bastard." he said in a light-hearted tone. "How have you been? its been a long time, too long I would say."

Returning the mans grip with equal gusto, Aerion returns the barb with his own retort. "As good as any man could be without having to keep watch over the likes of yourself!"
"It has indeed been far too long. I hear you're not relegated to wooden swords anymore, so congratulations are in order, Ser Addam!" happy for the slightly younger knight. "I take it you are well?"

"Ha!" Addam's laugh would of rang throughout the hall if it wasn't filled with all the Reach. "I could of sworn it was YOU that would needed to be watched over when one or two squires thought they could take a dragon when we were but boys. And don't let me forget about the Sunderland girl! You know the one! The one that had more hair on here lip than both of us that you were swooning over after one to many cups of wine at that tournament at Pinkmaiden all those years back."
Addam's chest swelled at the mention of his recently acquired knighthood "Yes indeed! Lord William saw fit to bestow the honor upon me not two months ago. I had hoped that he would wait to knight me here with the rest of the squires in the sept, but he wanted the ceremony done at sooner so that I might partake in full at the tourney. But enough about me. How have you been? Is your sister well? Last I heard you had returned to King's Landing."
OOC: Addam has never meet Leana before. Her mention is simple curiosity

"To be fair at the time neither of us had three hairs combined on our lips, plus the Sunderland girl was talented enough to forget certain facts." he says with a hearty laugh. "Much better than spending the night with the horses though, like you had to not two days later!"
"Not soon enough, ser. But it would have been nice to be knighted in this Sept. It's a beautiful place."
"I traveled there momentarily, but most of the last few years have been travelling for tourneys or spending time at House starkwood."
"Leana is well. A shame what happened to her late husband, but thankfully the children are young enough that they will be alright. It is my hope that she finds a good man here to help foster the young ones." This last bit he says as if thinking there aren't many around who would meet his approval.

"It it a shame indeed. No child show have to grow up without a parent." Addam's gaze turns to the floor for a brief second as he thinks about on the mother that he too lost at such a young age. "But at last she is still young, and beautiful as well. A good man will not be hard to come by. Plus they have a strong uncle to offer them guidance when needed."
Addam place his hand on the man shoulder for a few seconds. A brief moment of silence for those lost and the struggles that come with their passing before returning to his cheery self. "I hope we are not pair against each in the list too soon friend. I would hate to embarrass you to early!"

Aerion scoffs at the last barb. "Provided you don't intend to challenge me for my Lady's favour, then we shall have to delay your embarrassment until the later rounds."
After another few pleasantries and small talk, Aerion brings up on invitation. "Ser Donnel Blackbrier has given me an invitation to spar with him and a few others as practice for the melee. If you're eager for me to remind you of your place, feel free to come along?"
