Davos stood with his boar spear couched as the boar charged at him.
Why did I think this was a good idea again?
The boar charges, and while the initial impalement does not kill it, when Davos yanks the spear free the boar's lifeblood gushes out with it.

CD: 12
AR: 1
Health: 12/12
I/W/F: 0/0/0
Boar fight init: 4d6k3+5 9 (oh my. 1 above minimum result - good thing it's 'just' initiative!)
Damage = 7 base, 10 when set for charge
An Enormous Boar
Agility 4, Athletics 4 (Strength 2B), Awareness 4, Fighting 4 (Gore 2B), Endurance 4
CD: 12 (7 with Reckless)
AR: 3
Health: 1/12
Injuries: 4/4
(6 damage per DoS)
R1: Boar charges, triggers counterattack
Boar hunt counterattack: 5d6+1 18
Boar hunt counter Talented reroll: 1d6 4
Should have only kept 4 Dice, Spears not Lances.
[6,5,4,2]+1 = 18 vs CD 7, 3 DoS x 10 per DoS for 30 - AR 3 = 27 damage.
Boar takes 4 injuries to reduce damage by 16 to 11
Boar is impaled as per pg158
Boar Hunt maintain grip on spear Athletics TN 9: 4d6 16 Success
Per pg 158: "If you succeed, your opponent cannot move, but you cannot attack with the weapon, either."
By my reading, the boar cannot complete its charge, as it cannot get into range.
Further, by my reading either the boar would have to take an injury to free itself (and thus die) or it would not be able to move closer to attack on R2.
On the assumption that the boar either loses initiative or fails to get free (or if it is smart enough, passes)
R2: Lesser Action, free weapon (per pg158)
Boar Hunt R2 LA free spear Athletics TN 6: 4d6 15 2 DoS, deals weapon damage again - unclear if charge modifiers apply, but regardless with only 1 hp left the boar dies
