Daeron does what he should have at the beginning of this and spends 1 DP to give -1D to Otho, reducing his Run to 2 and giving Daeron advantage 1.
Whether it was because of his injuries, his own reluctance to run away, or the Seven's desire to see justice delivered to him, Ser Otho just could not flee quickly enough from the charging dragon that is Ser Daeron Wildfyre. Tossing away his shield in one final, reckless, gambit he swings at the blackguard with both hands and all of his remaining might. Heroically stabbing Otho Bracken in the back, he quickly dodges back into the woods. Taking one last glance at the unmoving body left unceremoniously in the middle of the path he wistfully thinks of the substantial reward that he would never be able to collect from the Blackwoods, but shakes such thoughts from his head. This wasn't for profit, it was for revenge justice. "For Ser Marlon" he whispers under his breath as he creeps back towards his tent. Justice had been done now that the Brute was dead, there was no way that any human could survive all of that, not even one as tenacious as Otho.

Surely though, Bloodraven would know who did it and if Daeron's pale half-brother could provide such a detailed map to his prey without anyone taking note, he would certainly be able to clandestinely arrange for the price on Otho's head to be delivered with none being the wiser? Food for thought as the Brute of Bracken is left for dead.
Otho is defeated and will thus not participate in any Bracken missions. -10 Bracken Strength (Morale) Daeron gains a morale point, which can be used during phase 3 to gain the effects spending a DP would, but only to improve his own tests and it cannot be applied retroactively.

Word around Lord Bracken's camp is that Ser Otho Bracken was found on the banks of the river halfway through the door to The Stranger's Halls, with multiple cuts and stab wounds. Some pray for his recovery, though many would not be saddened by his passing either. But the knowledge that there are murderers and assassins hiding among them and posing as one's leal allies ravages Bracken morale, suspicion and fear mixed with a little bit of concern, for the Brute of Bracken is a monster in battle, capable of tearing apart enemy squads all by himself, and woe to any youngling "hero" that seeks to prove his valor, thick as their skulls evidently must be, they still break under his mace.
