Most of the crowd roots for Ser Roland Redwyne, only the Blackwood camp cheers full-throatedly for their man and they are drowned out by the boos and jeers. Most thinks Redtusk should take it, swords and tourney lances in a duel of honor plays to his strengths, at least when his opponent fights with honor, which should be expected given that it is no Bracken Ser Ulber is facing. The duel begins as expected, with Redtusk almost ending it with his lancework and coming upon his foe swiftly and surely, but Ser Ulbert is experienced and very, very strong. His swordplay lacks the skill and finesse of his opponent, but he puts a great deal more power into his swings, turning the tables and Redtusk finds himself on the defensive against blows too heavy to deflect, a lesser knight would have buckled under the counterattack, but Redtusk keeps going, almost taking back the advantage and claw out a victory, but The Ironhand does not let go of his initiative once seized, and relentlessly beats his foe into submission.
To no Reachman's surprise, Redtusk takes his defeat graciously, and cheerily declares how he looks forward to the rematch. The Ironhand just shrugs gruffly at such prospects, with not a single word uttered, he makes it perfectly clear what he thinks of such antics from a knight of summer.
