Passive Fighting: (28) 24 Stance: Cautious CD: 21 (14) AR: 10 HP: 3/12, Tough F/I/W: 2/1/1 (0/0/1 from melee) ____________________________________________________________________ [Phase 2.5] ALIC, vs. Aubrey, Round 8, Cautious w/ Aim, Wound, LBF I (-4b): 5d6k3+2 19Both fighters were incredibly cautious, neither willing to be the first to make a mistake. But Aubrey had challenged Balon, not the other way around. For now he was content to fend off Aubrey's attacks.

Injury limit: -3 Wound limit: -1 Maneuver+Cautious Attack: 9d6k5+1 24 9d6k4+1 244*6+5-10=19 Still stuff on my table needed to be finished up before we can move onwards, so makes no difference with a few more rounds, although it does look like a rather foregone conclusion now.

Basically I was going to turtle-up and make you roll forever until you got bored and Aubrey did something stupid to break the monotony. But that didn't seem very exciting so I went bonkers to end it.
GA: Yield.
Both combatants were battered and bleeding from their duel and the previous melee. Balon had considered continuing the duel but the real fighting (or murders depending on your point of view) was on the horizon and Balon didn't need to be convalescing at Whitewalls. Riverthorn was the objective, not fighting with a chivalrous knight like Ser Aubrey over spilled wine. "I yield." Balon spat out as he dropped his sword to the ground.
