Aerion has looked forward to this matchup since he left Highgarden, and he's not alone. One of the largest crowds so far have gathered to watch the Longhorn face off against his protégé who includes the Red Lion and Blackfyre among his recent defeated opponents. He wishes it could be during a full fledged tourney, but the lower stakes won't diminish his desire to win. He proves it by landing a solid blow in the very first pass. 7C-2 - P5 vs. Robert - N+EF + D3 + SiS + CyB vs. PR ? / ? / 0: 6d6k4+5 24 6d6k4+1 17 4d6 18PR: 21 (24) AR: 10 Health: 12/12 F/I/W: 0/0/0 Copied dice tag but it is a new roll. My bad.

It is just like Lord Leo to try and claim Ser Aerion's helm, though at this he merely *almost* succeeds, the attempt is good enough that Aerion won't be declared the victor even if The Longthorn fails to break his lance. It is also close enough that if Aerion had not attempted to twist away in the saddle, Lord Leo would have succeed. Leo HiS+Show-Off: 7d6k4+10 31 6d6k4-2 18 4d6 10

Aerion pulls his helmet back down, having to twist it back into proper fitting. A smile on his face at his opponent and old mentor still trying to play tricks. But he was not without his own, some that he learned since their time together.
Can you post his stats? 7C-3 - P2 vs. Leo - N+EF+HS+Pious & SiS & CyB vs. PR ? / ? / 0: 7d6k5+8 29 6d6k4+1 20 4d6 11 - I think that's 2 DoS? PR: 21 AR: 10 Health: 12/12 F/I/W: 0/0/0

Lord Leo takes Aerion's helm on the second pass, but in return he finds himself unhorsed, as much as showmanship is appreciated by the crowds. The rules does happen to favor staying on one's horse, leaving The Great Bastard as the victor.

Aerion dismount and walks over to his old mentor, picking up his helmet along the way. He holds it out in front of him. "If you wanted my helm so bad, my Lord, all you had to do was ask." he says with a laugh after helping the man to his feet.
"If you have time later, my friend, I could use a word or two of advice as well."
Aerion lifts his helm above him and points to Lord Leo in praise, and the crowd cheers loudly again. He then accompanies his opponent off the field, making a remark about Aerion's first attempt at removing a helmet in a joust at Cider Hall and how poorly it went.

"About removing helmets, I hope?" Lord Leo cares mostly about jousting it would appear.

"I wouldn't want to dash your hopes then, my Lord." replies Aerion. Lord Leo is likely a busy man, but surely he could spare a few moments for his former protégé?
