Some Hogs are particularly large and ferocious.. -On a success, you enter a combat scene against such a boar (Gains +1 rank in all relevant abilities and specialties, +2 AR, you get to enter combat with a boar spear set against charge, naturally boar charges you, it also goes full reckless)

If a boar always charges, is initiative then useless?

Boar charges and PC gets a free shot in. If it survives then Initiative matters, assuming it doesn't get impaled.
Edit: Additionally as a Boar Spear has Reach you have to move away from the pig to attack or be a -1d to attack rolls as it's within the weapon's reach.

Ah, gotcha. Then in that case: CHARGE! Reckless Charge vs. CD 10: 7d6k4 15 - 2 DoS 2*(6 base +2 Charge) = 16 damage less AR Daeron, I think you made a typo for your AR.

Quickly deploying his heavy spear before him, Daeron only just began to appreciate exactly how big this creature was. From a distance it looked to be a formidable creature for sure, but as it was charging him and getting closer he guessed that it had to be at least 20 stones, maybe more in weight, more than most armored knights and far more tenacious too. Daeron's face hid his fear, but the sweat on his palms betrayed him. He was more accustomed to fighting in armor and sword in hand, the option of yielding available. Here was a fight to the death, and he wasn't quite sure that he held the advantage. With his own savage cry he opens himself up to the great tusks of the boar, but in taking such a risk he is able to plunge his spear into the narrow gap between its eyes and straight into its brain. Instead of a defiant snort or thrashing, the great boar simply went limp and crashed to the ground. Stunned at his own success, Daeron gives the spear a twist to make sure that the boar had truly perished, pulling it out and handing it over to one of the attendants. "Someone bring me some wine." Ser Daeron's Great Hunt-Set for Charge-Reckless: 6d6k5+1 24 (4 DOS for 40-3=37 damage) Should be a one-shot on it.
