The melee had been an easy one for Daeron so far, almost too easy. While friends and allies were pitted against difficult odds, he found himself coasting along the outskirts with Ser Aemon's team picking off easy targets and avoiding the chaos of the center. He wanted to be hunting down the Merryweather men, but there were still too many bodies blocking them from his sight. He would have to wait until the opening presented itself. In the meantime he would have to content himself with a target no less significant than the Lord Paramount of the Riverland, Lord Samwell Tully.

Even fresh and uninjured Lord Tully would struggle to match Wildfyre's speed, particularly when the Great Bastard was so well led. Initiative v Daeron: 3d6-5 5CD: 11->14 (fatigue taken if attacked) Health: 8/12 I/W/F: 1/0/1 [OOC: as he's taken fatigue already I'm assuming he's taking fatigue against attacks but we can correct based on narrator guidance. Standard approach - will yield once he can theoretically take a wound]

Normally Daeron would allow Lord Tully to have a moment to himself to prepare for a fight given that he was the head of a Great House, but not today. Not when there were still Merryweather blackguards on the loose, he would need to be at his best when he confronted them and therefore went with his typical tactics of charging sword-first.

Lord Tully reeled in the face of Daeron's charge and his retaliatory strike made little impact. No matter how fine his scales a fish could do little against a foe that was half dragon. Daeron shrugs off the attack to respond with a measured riposte of his own that nearly flings the lord from his seat.

Having done naught but nibble at the Great Bastard, Lord Tully held up an arm.
"Hold!"

Seeing that Lord Tully was more than capable of leaving the field under his own power, no permanent damage dealt, Daeron offers a cursory nod out of respect towards the man's high station before continuing to speed along the outskirts of the field with the rest of his team.
