Note: Excepting options concerning team-mates, scene 0 choices and rolls does not apply and are not strictly needed for this scene.
Challenge: Single Combat against following ordinary rules, except as follows:
Initiative: If one participant beats the other's result by 5, he may act first (distance to opponent=1 move action), otherwise the first round is resolved as an opposed charge (no lances) and then proceeding according to initiative results as normal.
As a Greater Action, you may call for assistance from a team-mate you designate, starting the following round, the team-mate may enter your scene once he have defeated his opponent. If the team-mate is an NPC, the narrator will resolve his scene to determine when he might enter. Doing this reduces any chivalry gain from the melee by 1.
If the named opponent in the scene you are in has been defeated: For a number of rounds as required to resolve all PC scenes or 5 rounds, whichever is greater, starting the round after your opponent was defeated, each character in the scene take a single attack of 4D+2B+1, +1b aim (5 damage/DoS) each round. You may take any action you wish during this time, deciding whether to take them before or after the attack occurs.
Opponents.
This only applies for those PC's who join in, it is generally possible to partake in the melee without actually taking part in any scenes, in which case you are assumed to have had a largely unremarkable performance. PC's should create a thread for their scenes and other player's should hopefully be of assistance in running the opponent. Players may resolve the attacks from nameless NPC's by themselves.

Behind the scenes:
The number of NPC opponents defeated per PC (and allies), as well as damage taken across these scenes will be used to approximate the total number of NPC's defeated off-screen, with an eye to how many NPC's there are in the field that roughly matches the abilities of the characters in play (most of them doesn't have fighting 5). If the number of characters defeated is large enough, it is likely to include some prominent warriors. The number of unnamed NPC's defeated by a character will likely influence the punishment his allies must sustain.
