[Not sure if it can be done retroactively or not, but taking a point of fatigue to ignore AP would be the better move for Ser Preston. If he does comtinue fighting though, either way, Balon is about to take a shit ton of damage!]

Iirc correctly the answer is no (at least it was in the Grand Melee).
Edit: I should note the reason behind that being those kind of things effect a PC/NPC's decision making.

14 damage means -2, so just the 1 injury.

He was at 10/12 HP, not full health.

From falling off, okay, Balon would be at 11/12 from that because taking 5 damage (Superior Destrier)

14 is success on KD, meaning a +1b that doesn't matter and 7*4-10=18.

[why is damage now 7, if it's athletics (4) + 2 for bastard sword?]

1) If your jousting damage is 9/DoS is Noble 4 or 5 damage?
2) I had him at 10/12 HP because he took 2 Damage in R1. Thus he was at 8 or 7 HP starting R2 depending on the answer to 1.
3) Kockdown has changed. You get +1b to hit and +1 damage, hence your 7/Dos.

1. 4.5, which rounds down, but total damage rather than per DoS.
2. You didn't include CyB with that.

1) Your 25 vs. his PR 19 is 2 DoS. At 4.5 Damage x DoS, that 9 is less than the 11 AR he has, so no damage from the joust round regardless of CyB, no?
3) good to know, looked for knockdown in various house rules, didn't see the prone bit.

1. 4.5, which rounds down, but total damage rather than per DoS. 2. You didn't include CyB with that. Just so I understand when you fall off your horse you take the base damage that can't be reduced by armor. Since we both went Noble Preston took 4 damage and Balon took 5 damage. Our CyBs resulted in Preston recovering 2 HP and Balon recovering 4 HP. The start of the Melee has 10/12 HP for Preston who then took two damage from my round 1 melee attack putting him at 8/12 HP. In round 2 he took 14 damage putting him at -6/12. He took two injuries bringing him back up to 2/12 (w/ 2 inj). In Round 3 Balon took 18 damage putting him at -7/12 (as he was at 11/12 to start the melee). Taking 2 injuries puts me at 1/12 (2 inj). I'll get rolls knocked out so we can get this resolved. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ CD: 1 (6 Base -5 Reckless) HP: 1/12, Tough F/I/W: 4/2/0 Passive Fighting: 24 Superior Bastard Sword Dirk Superior Large Shield 0/15 Full Plate Spent Fatigue for extra LA LA1: Aim GA: Two Weapon Attack Whitewalls, Melee R3, vs. Preston Oakheart, Two Weapon Attack, Reckless + Aim: 9d6k6-2 29 30, 3 DoS vs CD 19, 24-10 AR = 14 Damage. Dice Roll break down: 7d6k5+1 Base -2 from 4 Fatigue (Tough) +1B Aim +1D Reckless Preston would have to take a wound. Instead of that Balon will offer simple defeat to the heir to Old Oak. *Sorry for lack of RP. Want to figure all this mechanical stuff out.
