A strong opponent, not quite Titus' match at the lists, but capable enough to give him a fair amount of trouble.

They where of a queer kin, Blackwoods. Black of hair and sturdy northern stock, heatens and heretics some said, hanging the entrails of their enemies in amongst the branches of their Wierdwood trees. A superstitious sacrifice to their Old Gods who used to rule Westeros before the coming of the Andals and with them; the light of the Seven That Are One. Titus' ancestors had been giantslayers, vanquishing such ancient evils with holy fire and blessed steel. This was a pale comparison but none the less he rode with a the fervour of a that too himself seems to match those heros of old.

This was a tremendous clash, each pass bringing a spectacular impact but both knights somehow remaining astride their mounts. Both knights may have been young, but they were already both better than many more experienced warriors. A match that already had the makings of a song and they were only three passes in! Seasoned observers suggested Titus had slightly the better of things, but neither man had opened a decisive lead as of yet. v Titus P1-3 N;SiS;CyB: 3#7d6k4+5 28 25 22 3#6d6k4+1 13 19 21 3#4d6 17 9 17PR: 19 AR: 10 Health: 12/12 - Titus leads 6 DoS to 5 DoS, so Ser Brandon may step things up a bit from here to claw things back.

Titus rides like a man possessed, surely empowered by The Warrior landing near perfect hits on his opponent while remaining steady in his saddle.

Brandon somehow endure's Titus's fourth strike, the crowd gasping at the skill displayed by both men. The young Reachmen summons up all of his line's holy might and somehow improves at the next pass. Ser Brandon is lifted clean from his saddle, a most unusual sight. For his own part, the Riverlander delivers two firm blows in return, but a knight of Titus's prowess cleanly rides through such hits. Rapturous cheering fills the stands and even some of the nobility's section - this was proper jousting!
