Having already taken one blow to his ego today, Daeron wouldn’t suffer another as he spoke in defense of himself. To him, this wasn’t a trial by combat and his yield wasn’t a matter of innocence or guilt, but a matter of strength of arms.
Takes one wound, so -1D, which is countered by the +1D Influence spent. Bastards-Persuade (Convince): 6d6k4+2 22 (2 DOS)

The die doesn't disappear, it just isn't kept, so that should be 7k4

Arguing in Daeron's Favour - Persuasion (Convince) +Chiv +Char: 5d6k4+3 19= 2 DoS -2 Disp with Eldon +2 Disp with Willem & Lysette
Trystane stands and steps forward, raising his voice in support of his brother. "Rennifer Waters has repeatedly used dishonourable tactics against opponents at the bidding of the coward Eldon Merryweather, and today is no different! It is he and his foul master who should be ejected from this tournament, not Ser Daeron! You know it, Lord Butterwell! All present know it! Ser Daeron has done no wrong here, and his yield is not an admission of guilt! Any sane man would yield after being brutally impaled like that! That attack was not the action of a knight jousting in good faith! It was the action of a vile blackguard! To see this noble sport sullied by such ungallant behaviour is a travesty!" He is riled, and doesn't catch himself ranting until it is too late to retract. "I personally attest to the righteousness of Ser Daeron's character, and to the sincerity of his claim to have not acted in an underhanded manner here! In fact, if honour must be further satisfied in this matter, I will gladly lend my sword to Ser Daeron's cause to answer this insult in a Trial by Seven!"

Laena purses her lips and remains silent. It looks like Ser Daeron will see the morrow, however much he may wish he'd do so under better circumstances, so she does not feel compelled to speak. While she hopes Ser Daeron succeeds in his argument, she's very much aware of Lord Eldon becoming more aggressive in his attitude since his champion's victory over Ser Daemon, and she does not wish to both remind him that there is a beautiful young lady travelling under minimal guard, and focus his ire on her as well.
There is a fine line between bravery and foolishness. One she has crossed before, to be fair. But not one she wishes to cross here and now. Lord Eldon is a man to be hated, certainly, but not a man to be underestimated.

Daeron's side presently in the lead by default, will let it run until round 3 of jousting matches are set up (it's on my schedule, so likely happening today or tomorrow). After that, participation would only matter for disposition bonuses.

Battle of the Bastards Convince: 6d6k4+3 20 2 DoS His cousin was a fool. He should of took his victory while he could when Lord Eldon forfeited. Instead, he let his pride get in the way, and he faced Ser Rennifer's lance for it. He didn't come dressed in his arms and armor as Daeron had suggested, this wasn't his fight, but sat in the stands with the other on lookers. As Lord Piggy cried for victory, Addam was able to point out first he had only used Ser Rennifer to escape justice, but now he wants to use him to win tourneys.

Roland made the case for Daeron, but his words clearly carried less weight than more eloquent men and women, even if it was clear Lord Starling and his daughter appreciated his effort. Battle of the bastards persuade tn13: 3d6+2 10 Battle of the Bastards - missing +1D from starling influence: 1d6 2 +2 (Blood of the Andals) = 14, 1 DoS[OOC: please note typo in campaign names "Great Bastard" as I was rolling via my mobile. Rerolling doesn't seem right as this was a narrow failure that I could improve with Blood of the Andals if I was luckier second go round.]

It was nearly ideal. To support Eldon’s cause when, at least from a narrow legalistic view, he was certainly in the right, would demonstrate acumen without compromising her honour, or so Lynesse hoped. Perhaps the more diplomatic choice would have been silence, for surely her words would not be positively received by Lord Starling, his daughter, or Wildfyre. But damn them all, the Bastard most of all, for waving their swords around with less than half a thought about the ramifications of their actions on the lives of others. “My Lord Butterwell, both men have announced their accusations, and tested them before the gods with cold steel. Why was this duel permitted, if not to resolve the matter? Lord Eldon does not request favour, nor demand personal vengeance, but merely the logical consequence of his champion’s victory. To judge otherwise would be to acknowledge that Ser Daeron rigged the joust, but allow him to continue. Surely this will result in more of the same, with more knights and lords being put at risk for the sake of personal vendettas. As the host of this tourney, you must discharge your personal duty to your guests, to keep those who abide by the rules of the tourney and the laws of the land safe from those that do not.”
Spend 1 Influence BotB Pro Eldon Incite + 1D, TN13: 7d6r1k5+1 23For 3 DoS and +2 Disposition from Lord Eldon [and -2 with various, less important folk] For perhaps the first and last time in her life, Lynesse would love to see an NPC interaction from Ser Eustace Daverhyl. Edit: If the window to actually influence this has closed, can I take that Influence back and lower the roll to 19 and 2 DoS, since it would be pointless?

He was heartened by his friends’ support and unsurprised by those who offered no words.
However, Daeron was surprised by Lynesse’s betrayal, but if she wished to find herself in the pig’s embrace, then she would surely get what she wanted. She wouldn’t find much of a champion in Daeron should her future need arise.
-2 disposition from Daeron towards Lynesse, and Thaddeus . +2 towards Addam, Trystane, and Willem +1 to Roland for trying

Blackbriars wouldn't put influence behind it in the first place, also attractive r1 doesn't apply to non-charm/seduce. At this point, the actual outcome only matters for disposition changes and role-play.

Similarly to his brother, though unbeknownst to him, Trystane was also taken aback by Lynesse's support for Eldon. He had been a little surprised she had spoken up at all, but when it became clear it was in Eldon's favour, he couldn't help but look over at her incredulously.
Gods, girl. How afraid of that pig must you be to say such things? Did my warning just go in one ear and out the other?

"My lady Lynesse speaks with wisdom beyond her years. An accusation was made; a witness and proof was brought forwards. A counter accusation was presented yet no witness, no proof. The laws of men could have settled the matter there and then but Ser Daeron chose to put fate in the hands of The Gods. As is his right."
He bows in such a way that it could be towards both both Lords Butterwell and Merryweather. "The Gods have clearly spoken." Battle of the Bastards - Convinve v TN13: 6d6k4+4 21 - 2 DoS Yes. Convinve.
