Draped in the colours of Blackbriar and Peake, Titus’ right is deep blue with white stars and a golden knight, charging forwards whilst his left is a bright burnt orange adorned with trios of black castles. All draped over a polished, silver armour, Titus cuts a most striking figure as he enters the fields of Whitewalls on top of Smith, his Fossoway charger, a stallion of great strength yet controlled temperament. He salutes Lord Butterwell, followed by the crowds and foremost; Lady Daena Flowers before he raises his lance in greeting of his opponent; Lord Jon Bracken. Lord Jon Bracken is graying, though he never was as strong as his sons have grown up to become.

By now he'd spent enough time under Lord Gormon's wings to have learn that jousting, although a sport of summer it may be, always carried a certain element of politics with it. Like flies around a charger. Lord Bracken was one of the primary supporters of Blackfyre in The Riverlands and him being drawn against Titus in the first round was surely not pure coincidence, Lord Blackwood had faced a similar pairing, facing of against Ser Roland - the tourney masters were clearly trying to avoid the warring Lords to progress too far - to keep the dangers of further bloodshed between the two families at a minimum. Titus was a clear favourite, at least amongst the Reachmen who had made the journey north - but he rode the first passes fairly conservative, no need in humiliating the old Lord with a swift defeat.

Lord Jon Bracken was thought to be a firm ally of Ser Aegor Rivers, but also thought to be his nephew's marked inferior as a knight. He adopted a conservative approach, managing to break his lance against his talented foe's shield but in doing so was thrown clean from his saddle.
