[P2 / R1 Jousting at Whitewalls] KYO - Cunning: 3d6 14
PR: 14 AR: 9 (Half Plate Fitted) Health: 12/12 I/W/F: 0/0/0
Mikel had followed his typical routine of light exercise and light drilling so that he was still warmed when the time of his match rolled around. He waited on his Rousey, armored with Lance in hand and tip up, picking the placement of his lance in advance of the call to begin.

As far as Ser Mikel can gather, Ser Tywin is as ordinary a sworn sword as can be faced, having inherited his place at some petty lord's table on account of his birth.

[P2 Whitewalls R1 Joust] Mikel v. Ser Twyin Deddings - Braced, Noble, Heightened Stakes, Talented, ANH: 7d6k4+2 25 [P2 Whitewalls R1 Joust] Mikel v. Ser Twyin Deddings - SiS + Braced: 5d6k3+3 15 [P2 Whitewalls R1 Joust] Mikel v. Ser Twyin Deddings - CYB: 4d6 19
Mikel gave his horse the touch it needed at the call of the trumpet. At a gallop in a few strides all that Mikel could was Ser Tywin becoming closer and closer. He had picked his favorite place, between the middle of the breastplate and above the groin. Aim too high and they might flop back but remain seated, aim too low and you could be impeded by the rim of the saddle or its horn. His goal, almost always the same, was to displace his adversaries hips. If the hips moved back, everything was like to follow. Or in the least if he could halt them for just a second with the impact of his weight, his adversaries horse would keep going regardless.

[OOC: can help out here if given guidance on NPC tactics here or via personal forum, suspect this is largely a formality given Mikel's excellent start!]

Ser Tywin struck well, a blow almost worthy of his illustrious namesake, the Lord Commander of the Kingsguard. It was a testament to Mikel's judgement that the canny hedge knight kept his seat. Such was the ferocity of Mikel's blow that Tywin was thrown clean from his saddle. Like most knights he was a long way from matching any of the Kingsguard for horsemanship. v Mikel P1 N;SiS;CyB: 5d6k3+3 19 5d6k3 10 3d6 6

Tywin was quick, scrambling for his longsword. A rich ransom awaited if he could just overcome the talented Ser Mikel. v Mikel initiative: 3d6-3 8CD: 9 (including large shield) Health: 5/9 I/W/F: 0/0/0 [OOC: good catch, I continue to be the bane of my fellow PCs when piloting NPCs. Forgot about Heightened stakes. Mikel, let me know your damage with the lance is I've just guessed 7 per DoS = 3 AH, +1 tourney lance, +2 charge, +1 steed's strength. Tywin's lance damage is covered by your armour, so only the fall hurts you and that is entirely recovered by CyB]

Also noble, so half damage means no injury by my count. He's also a tertiary.

Superior Bastard Sword, Stiletto, Knife
[P2 Whitewalls Joust R1] Mikel v. Tywin, Initiative: 4d6-2 9 - 1 = 8 *Tie* [P2 Whitewalls Joust R1] Mikel v. Tywin, Charge: 7d6k4+2 25 4 DoS 32 damage- ?AR? = ?
[Narrative in following post]
[OOC: I had gone with my Superior Armor stats before catching myself, hence the -1 to my initiative and now tied roll, Mikel has no quickness die. What is the tie breaker? I already rolled his attack before I caught myself, but can strike it if Mikel looses initiative. I also did not account for Armor Master, and corrected my AR. :/ Sorry peeps. Seven damage per DoS was correct!]

Tie-breaker Initiative: 3d6-3 6[OOC: Tie-breaks Unless otherwise specified (in an event text, for example), tie-breaks (when needed) are always settled by number of specialty dice used and then rerolls. Notably this applies to intrigue and combat initiative (the latter having two conflicting rulings in the book). source: greatbastards.boards.net/thread/13/various-house-rules]
