In every conversation they'd had previously Addam was attempting to swoon Lady Delia Hewett so he could become the Lord Protector of Oakenshield. Asking for Delia's favor seemed logical but then again who knew the thoughts of those with Valyrian blood. Lyanna was very beautiful and any knight would be lucky to carry her favor. As he thought of Lyanna he felt the locket against his chest and suddenly felt a pang of guilt. This was the first time Balon had sported his new armor and wanted to give a good first impression. His golden armor was polished to a high sheen and it reflected light in a way to make him look radiant. The black horns of his helm provided a stark contrast (some said they matched his deeds) to his armor and his shield was freshly painted with his personal sigil. He bowed his head to Lady Lyanna then his friend Addam before trotting Beast to the starting area. When the trumpets sounded Balon spurred Beast on for the first pass. No hard feelings friend. Addam's armor shone in stark contrast to Balon's. A suit of plate, plated silver and enameled sea green. He had opted for Winter's Rose, a beautuful blue roan filly of Fossoway stock, over Seasmoke. Balon was a strong contender, and Addam would need the courser's agility over Seasmoke's brute strength. He had hoped Balon would come out blazing , looking for a quick victory, but it seemed both riders weren't going to risk the tourney over a ladies favor.

Addam spurred Winter's Rose forward, ready to put Balon on the dirt. As the two charged forward, he noticed something was off with Balon's lance placement. That bastard! At the last second, Addam shift his body just so. The hit was hard, but less devastating then it should of been. *Spending a Dp to give Balon -1D to fighting, Droping him down to 1 Dos and preventing him from knocking Addam out. Raising the stakes as well for +3 tn for sis for the upcoming passes.

DP is -1D on everything starting with the test it applied to. Also, there's reporting rules.

Maybe it was due to an underlying guilt for being so aggressive against his friend. Maybe it was something he ate or drank. Maybe it was the Seven enacting their will for his previous murders. R1P5 Balon N, HiS, EF, Aggressive 2: 6d6k4+9 28 2 DoS TN: 14 + 3 from Heighten Stakes = 17 So Baring destiny, Balon unhorsed and takes 8 from the attack, 2 from eyes fixed, and another 8 from falling. So 18-10= 8 damage R1P5 Balon SiS: 6d6k4-2 10 Addam Unhorsed 16 damage -11=5 dmg R1P5 Balon CyB: 3d6 6 1 DoS Base Damage: 8 (AH 4 +1, +1 from horses strength, +2 Charge
Balon the Snakeeater, Balon the Blackguard, Addam had defended his friend threw all those claims, yet he still cheapshoted him. Reading himself for the last pass, Lyanna wouldn't get her 9 rounds of glory, Addam was going to end it right now. As he rode down the lane, he threw all his weight behind his strike, but his arrogance had left him off balance, and just as he knock Balon off his saddle, so to did he find himself in the dirt.

Help me with the math (Addam or Father). Your pass was 2 DoS. 8 Base +1 from Eyes fixed so 9/DoS. Going Noble halves that so 18/2 = 9 damage. 10 AR - 9 = 0 Damage from Lance.
I fall off horse and take damage again, which isn't reduced by armor. Leaving me at 3/12 HP? MY CyB is 3 DoS bringing me to 6/12. BTW you CYB is 2 DoS, not 1 giving you 6/9 HP.
With your DP usage I can't beat your initiative so go ahead and attack. I'll use Fatigue to ignore AP.

Honestly I'm not to sure. I figured Falling got added onto the damage from the lance and then subtract it from AR. With Daerons old jousts, it looks like they were starting with relatively full health with no injuries or wounds.

Let's see: Addam goes noble, superior courser presumably means 2b strength for 9 base damage, 10 for Eyes Fixed, 5 with noble, so Balon takes 5 damage falling off, AR eats the 10 from the 2 DoS Balon goes noble, 10 base damage, 11 for eyes fixed, noble so 22/2=11, AR takes care of the lance damage but doesn't help with the rest, so Addam takes 5 damage falling off.
Don't remember if CyB was applied if falling off, but if both gets it, it's fine.

My courser has 1b strength so 8 base, 9 for eyes fixed, 2 Dos with falling would be 14 damage-10 Ar=4 damage Balon only got 1 Dos on me so 6 damage from the hit and 6 damage from the fall (5.5 rounded up) leaves 1 damage after fall Both would get CyB which gives Balon 11 Health and Addam 9 at the start. Turn 1 Move Knockdown Ground Combat Balon: 4d6+2 19 Should be enough Spending a Fatigue For additonal lesser Acton Standard Attack Ground Combat Balon: 7d6k5 26 Knockdown bonus dice: 1d6 4 -1 New Total 25 2 DoS 12 dmg - 10 = 2 AR:11 CD: 14 (15) HP: 6/9 Fatigue: 0
Balon might be tougher, but Addam was certainly quicker. Using his agility to his advantage, he was able to close the distance and knock Balon to back to the dirt before he had time to get his guard up. Edit: I will not spend a Fatigue if I’m attacked

It's 5.5 rounded down to 5, and it's not 14-10AR, it's 2*9/2-10=0 and 9/2=4.5, though makes no matter in this case. Note however that a superior horse gets extra XP which typically goes into strength unless you wanted something else with it.
