If the gods do favour the bold they do not shy away from testing their hubris. Across the field enters Ser Aemon Flowers, Great Bastard of House Florent and every inch a knight. Titus salutes his opponent in a lighthearted way, still beaming with pride from his last victory. Ashford Meadows - Know Your Opponent - Cunning(Tournaments) - Ser Aemon: 5d6k3 12

Ser Aemon is very good, not quite as good as Lord Durwell, but more than a match for most jousters in the Reach. An intelligent combatant and jouster, erring more on the pragmatic side than the flashy tendencies of others. Surprises might be possible, but he is more likely to stick to orthodox tactics for the exact same reason as makes them orthodox, they are usually the ones who works best.

Titus lowers his visor and sets his Destrier to a charge as the trumpets blast. His lance shatters violently against Ser Aemon - a good hit!

The two following passes proved less dangerous for The Great Bastard, Titus lances shattered but would hardly threaten his seat.

Riding up to Ser Aemon, Titus extends a hand to aid the Great Bastard up if he would take it.
”Fine riding, Ser! But I believe you are the one to be congratulated. Lady Lysette is a fine woman, I look forward to your wedding and a rematch!”
