Once arrived, Thaddeus leaves the setting of camp to Malyk and the servants. The seneschal enjoys it and the servants are paid to do it - which means they must enjoy it too, no? Later there would be bread and salt, feasting and speeches as always and of course he mustn't forget to have his name put down for the games. These kind of things are expected by an heir. Even if his name is Levalle. All that would come later, yes but for now Thaddeus had a mind for other things. He'd never visited Lordsview, nor any of The God's Eye for that matter and there where sights to be seen. Lordsview was grand enough; smelled worse than Gardenton but better than King's Landing - not that that says a lot. The cobbled streets laid wide and straight; buzzing with tinkers, merchants and fences hawking their wares, everyone eager to lap up some of the gold that trickled down from Lord Butterwell's coffers. Looming over it all sat the Milkhouse, a grand palace and testament to where the Butterwell's talented laid; coin and the acquiring of it. A talent those who do not possess, tend to frown upon. Thaddeus admired them for it. Following the main street, Godsway they called it, one walked past inns and taverns, some looking of more ill repute than others until one until it reaches the small port. The Eye of the Gods was a lake, yes, but so vast that it was easier for the lordships surrounding it to set up ports and conduct trade through little ships but Thaddeus was not here for the port, no. Many miles away, yet still massive enough to dominate the horizon it stood on the northern side of the lake - Harrenhal. Dark towers once proud and tall, built by iron hands on the backs of conquered slaves now warped and twisted by dragon fire it stood the ultimate monument to a simple truth. Do no fuck with the dragons.
Once having had his fill of ominous shadows he returned to the pavilions. Now there was salt and bread to receive, feasting and speeches to be had, all which was proper and served its purpose. But later, later he would return for something Lordsview seemed filled to the brim with the offers of; wine and the embrace of questionable women. Interact with the Commons - Give out Alms to the PoorThe day after they arrive, Aerion takes an opportunity to spend some time with his niece and nephew, bringing them to the church to offer a prayer for their mother. He takes the time to explain many of the paintings and their significance when asked what they are. As they are leaving, one of the members of the clergy mentions that they are going to be giving out alms, to which Aerion immediately offers his service (and the reluctant service of the children) in their efforts. A small argument from Sylvina was handled like any good uncle would have - with the offer of sweets! - and the opposition soon was quiet. +1 Disposition with 3 semi-random NPCs from the ReachGamblingAerion always enjoys gambling, getting to spend time without worrying about politics or other such weights of the world. It's curious, because he has more coin than he could possibly lose to these people, but yet when the dice are flying he's as competitive as any of them. Still, after an evening of fun, he doesn't even bother to count his coin to see if he's ahead or behind (Wealthy benefit means gambling is not really relevant at those amounts). Temptations of the FleshAerion is a pious man, and as honourable and chivalrous as men can come. But, he is also young, and has heard of the reputation of the Rutting Boar as a great place to blow off some steam. Needless to say his curiosity is piqued. Still, he knows that he likely shouldn't be seen entering, and so spends some time shopping for clothes that he himself likely wouldn't wear - bland dark colours and a thick, heavy cowl - he spends some time getting his disguise ready and makes his way to the less-than-fine establishment. He spends little time in the common area - more opportunity for him to be discovered - and proceeds to the back room. When he leaves - a few Gold Dragons lighter than when he entered, his perceptions about the talents of the fairer sex have all but been replaced. Phase 1 - AtFotF (Temptations) - Deception (Disguise) vs. TN 13: 4d6 22 (I've assumed we can take the +1D for having time to prep disguise, though it doesn't matter with those dice).Wages of Sin Aerion doesn't spend much time there, but he does hear something interesting as he passes through.Phase 1 - AtFotF (Wages of Sin) - Knowledge vs. TN 12: 3d6 15 - 1 DoS

For the most part, the indiscretions of nobles tends to be overlooked, talked about of course, who doesn't like to point out that others are as fallible as oneself, if not even more so? This does not apply to ladies, whose virtue are supposed to be so well guarded that none would ever dare question that it remains unspoiled and preserved for their husband alone, saved for the first night of their wedding and never once outside the marriage bed. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that a man's bastards are just that, his bastards, it is hard to lay claim to a different mother. But if a lady does not keep faith, who can ever say who the father to her children might be? And if one has learned that she slips but once, is it not easy to imagine that this might just be the one time she had been discovered? Maybe. Or maybe it's just a world ruled by jealous, possesive men, who does not wish to share or eat leftovers. That being so, men does not always walk free from consequence, while their peers might shrug and forget all about it once the news has grown old, their loved ones might take a different view, though in Ser Roland's case, that is not too much of a worry, Lady Alicent is no naive wallflower whose world view is shattered just because her betrothed is the talk of town for an eve for all the wrong reasons. She does not even consider such a thing an insult to her person, but she is disappointed nonetheless, not because he sought such an outlet, no, but because he failed to be discrete about it. A man's betrothed might have fathers taking such matters more seriously, or a brother in this case, but Lord Olyvar simply laughs and waves for the servant to fill his cup to the brim, who in the seven hells cares about a man fucking a Rhoynar whore? That's just honoring their proper place in society. Scantily clad to better hawk their wares like any other on the market. His line of thought swims through his cup to form grandiose plans of tearing off the silken disguises as noble ladies off the Rhoynar whores and march them out of their castles to populate the brothels from The Red Mountains all the way to The Wall. One thinking that Ser Roland thus had escaped such ill wills forgets that Lady Alicent has another guardian, one who distinctively remembers eliciting a promise from Ser Roland not to bring shame and dishonor upon her, he had vouched for him with Prince Baelor who had consented to the union on behalf of his father. And Ser Roland had broken his promise. Had not Lady Alicent allied with his grandmother to temper his fury, the perceived insult would cut deep. It takes some coaxing to remind him that Ser Roland, despite such weaknesses, remains one of the finest knights in The Seven Kingdoms, one of the few who tries hard at staying true to the holy duty bestowed on them and should absolutely not be compared to the sort Lord Eldon has recently raised to the title, let alone the few who chose to remain in his service. Still, such words cannot wash away all of the Longthorn's feelings of betrayal.

Balon finds an admirer in Ser Manfryd, lapping up the tales of heroes such as Fireball and Lord Gormon, not a man Balon was like to pay any particular heed to at the time seeing that he rarely raised his voice, but others asked about it and the adventures in the Rosewood and other places attracted quite an interest and drinks being purchased for Balon to stay and share more, and Ser Manfryd sat there mesmerized. Balon would in fact most likely be unaware that there was a landed knight of sworn to the Blackwoods among those listening in, let alone that this quiet knight in the corner would later be inspired to defy his lord, unwilling to be on the wrong side of history, for surely, the likes of Fireball and Gormon Peake would never deign themselves to join a cause that is not righteous.
Balon's +1 Disposition from carousing at The Boar comes from Ser Manfryd of Brackford, which doesn't amount to much for now aside from connecting him to future events. Other random NPC gains to be posted every now and then as I have time to process it, also deliberately holding them back in case I get more fun ideas for giving these little guys some screentime before their fifteen minutes of fame.

Contrary to the claim that no good deed goes unpunished, it can often be met with approval, even if spending one's time on compassion comes at the expense of more productive things to one's aims. Unless of course, being regarded as a gentle and magnanimous soul was the objective all along.

Trystane's pursuits of whatever it is he is searching for seems, as of yet, not very fruitful. Ser Cleos Sunflower is thought to favor men, but it turns out only because he truly loves just the one, Lady Daena Whitethistle, and it becomes quite apparent that he has yet to work up the courage to let her know of his feelings, though they spoke a bit and had pleasant times together when he squired at Highgarden and she was among Lady Rhonda's ladies in waiting, she still happens to be so in fact. She dared not pursue her, and for his love for her, he cannot court any other, but instead became good friends with all of her friends, very good friends, but never made any move.
Trystane quickly deducts how certain suspicions might have arisen. He also meets Lord Roland Leygood, good looking if perhaps not near enough men like Lord Durwell in comparison to do justice to the description of being handsome, while rumored to be interested in men, this can quickly be established to be a case of not having much interest in courting women and thus he must like men? Well, not. Lord Roland Leygood seems much more interested in riding from one joust or the other, Trystane gets the distinct feeling that House Leygood could be rotting away and he wouldn't notice this before he found himself without the coin to ransom back his horse and armor, let alone replace them.
Lady Falyse Blackbar is certainly a feast for the eyes, easy to see why Ser Mikel would ask her favor, in Dorne young men would follow wherever she goes, serenading her, dueling for her favor. But while her skin is just the right complexion for the Dornish Sun, it is not so for the fields and meadows north of The Red Mountains, here she is shunned by almost all, and near every man who cares to approach her has done so either to throw insults or make indecent proposals based on the notion that Rhoynar blood makes a girl desperate to have her insides filled up by any strapping young lad such as themselves. She is thus reserved, vulnerable and cynical in some ways, but strong and innocent in others.
Laena robs the unremarkable Ser Lyman Beesbury for gold, and Lord Leygood as well, a more interesting sort, but perhaps he would be more agreeable if his head wasn't full of comparisons between himself and all the other jousters he would like to be able to match, she has to endure a steady stream of admiration from her brother while fleecing him for his coin.
Addam is caught up with two lords that are not so easy to like, especially when drunk. Lord Gareth mentions more than one time that Lady Perianne has asked about him, hinting about maybe Addam should ask about her, hmm? Hinting rather stronger than can ever be considered proper. Lord Kevan Hastwyck starts suggesting his own daughter, Lady Mya, much better looking than the Great Bastard, oh, yes. If that was true, Addam would surely have taken notice of her, but he can't even put a face to her name. As the talk turns to border upon treason, suggesting that King Daeron is a bastard, most proper knights would quickly find some way to excuse themselves.
Trystane gets +1 disposition with: Ser Cleos Sunflower Lady Falyse Blackbar Lord Roland Leygood
Laena gets +1 disposition with: Ser Lyman Beesbury Lord Roland Leygood
Addam gets +1 disposition with: Lord Gareth Middlebury Lord Kevan Hastwyck
(These are not updated in the sheet, claim them in the character records thread)

Davos liked to enjoy himself, but he also did not like to fight with a head muddled by wine or women. He heard rumors of the Rutting Boar, and caught sight of it in his meanderings, but resisited the temptation to see what they had on offer - he knew how easily one thing could lead to another... besides, only a fool pays for something they can get for free, and while Davos was no grand seducer of women, he never lacked for company when he desired it, either. That his purse was not as heavy as he might wish added to his resolve as well. It might be time to sell my assets in Braavos. With Alia gone I don't know how much I would want to live there anyway. He took the opportunity of the fair to ask around abit about his brothers murder. He was not expecting to find much here on the other side of the Reach from where it had happened, but minstrels and the like did travel a fair bit and were often in the presence of lips loosened by drink. His expectations were met, but not exceeded - few had even heard of Ser Vorian Dayne, and none knew anything about his death. He did manage to win a fair bit of coin at games of chance while he was at it, however. Davos didn't often feel very lucky, but Alia had always said that he was blessed by some goddess of luck or other. Who was he to argue with someone easily thrice as smart as him? Not to mention that winning her heart was the luckiest thing that could have happened to any man that ever lived... even if she was gone now.
