It is unclear what brought the half-Dornish bastard brother of Lord Oakheart to pick up Parmen's gauntlet. Ser Jasper is in his usual non-talkative self, some wondering if he simply needs to let out some steam, he certainly is a fixture in the melee, and one of the more formidable opponents a knight might face. Not a man to seek friends, and as few seems to know anyone that has seen him win anything, not many chances for a bastard to be allowed to hold fancy speeches otherwise.

What is he getting involved for? Does he care a fig for Abelar or is he targeting me specifically?Ser Parmen knew Ser Jasper as a serious knight. A formidable warrior although more accomplished with a sword than a lance. Parmen racked his memory from the Black Tourney to try to decide on a fighting style appropriate for his worthy opponent. {P1} VentingAnger: KYO Awareness: 3d6 11

Ser Jasper appears intent on winning glory to his name, or at least winning this match. Charge: 7d6k4+3 24 5d6k3 16 4d6 18That's 3 DoS vs PR 14, 2 DoS vs PR 15 (if using superior horse), for TN 15/12 Stay in saddle and 24-10=14 damage (or 16-10=6 damage)

Neither knight seems much affected with the opening exchange of blows with the lance, and so it comes to swords. Initiative: 3d6-4 7-AP to iniative, but you're clearly going first anyhow. CD: 12 AR: 10 Health: 12

Parmen rocked back and gritted his teeth against the impact of the charge. Wheeling about he quickly to drew his new longsword and aimed at Ser Jasper. {OOC: I’m assuming that once swords are drawn we are already in too close for a mounted charge. Can correct if my assumption is wrong.}

Jasper gives almost as good as he gets, opting for a stronger defense than Parmen, but so far his foe appears to have some small advantage.
Ordinarily, riders are presumed to be "charging distance apart", but rolling along with it. That should be 6*3-10=8 CD: 15 (12) AR: 10 Health: 4/12 Aim+cautious Attack: 9d6k4+2 20 2*6-10=2

Ser Jasper makes one last ditch desperate effort to get back into the game, leaving himself open to a counterattack.

Ser Jasper may have wanted to prove himself, he may have wanted to hurt someone for relief, he may have wanted many things. But he also knew when he was beaten. He throws down his sword in surrender.
It's 6x damage +1 for being mounted, so 14, which takes him into wound land and he yields.
+1 Chivalry and +1 Glory

Parmen choked back the desire to slam one final blow into his opponent. Rolling his shoulders to see how injured he was, he determined that nothing was broken although he would be feeling the aftereffects from the fight for several days.
"Well fought, Ser." He offered Ser Jasper a salute before sheathing his sword.
