Lady Kyra Orme is a pretty sight to behold, if perhaps slightly gaunt, a little more meat on her bones would look well on her, but it also makes her beautiful in her own way, slender and majestic like a Valyrian blade, if an aspect of vengeance were part of The Seven, she might serve nicely as a model for the sculpture. Especially if you were praying for her to visit it upon your foes. And she is indeed after vengeance, vengeance for her dead brother. And for this purpose she seeks out Ser Daeron, the voice and blade of a Great Bastard of prove prowess could serve her well in her quest. Her other brother, the one who survived, she mentions not. House Orme is not a house of great wealth or power, but Lady Kyra is a formidable woman and no lord is without the means to show gratitude.

Lady Kyra was a feast for the eyes, even if she was older than the women that Daeron normally preferred, how she and the late Ser Owen could be related to the repulsive lord of House Merryweather was beyond him. He knew little of Lady Orme other than her kin. If only he had an inkling of how dangerous of a woman she really was..
“Lady Orme, to what do I owe the pleasure of your visit?”

She is here hoping to see justice to be visited on Septon Abelar, justice that her dead brother was denied at Highgarden. If only she were born a man and be made a knight she could throw down her gauntlet and dare any man willing to damn himself by rallying behind such sinful poison as that meddlesome Septon spreads, but alas the Gods desired otherwise. She is but a lady, and it is the way of the world that ladies require the aid of gallant knights to get anything done in this world, however righteous their cause.

“I too wish to see justice done. If my lady would permit me to ask, why me?
Your lord husband performed admirably at the Black Tourney and it seems that you can pull Rennifer Waters’ sword to your causes as well. With these men, why is it that you come to me to champion your cause?”

Ser Rennifer is not here, he is with Eldon, along with half the whores of Oldtown at Windswept Castle, she snorts at the pig's priorities. Lord Orme's name and prowess does not quite live up to that of other knights, he will add his voice and sword to those who would see justice done, but it is a sad state of affairs, that even at The Starry Sept, where the tenets of The Faith has been taught, studied and refined for a thousand years, politics matters as much as righteousness when the sword of justice is raised and the wielder must decide whether to strike, or not.
If this was merely a matter of right and wrong, she need only come to watch Septon Abelar receive his just deserts, a pity that what should be incorruptible had deteriorated into such a state, or perhaps it never had been anything but corrupt, those taking oaths of service to The Seven, giving up everything granted to them by birth remains men, and men are fallible.

"Let us never imagine that the Faith has ever kept itself outside of politics, nor politics outside of the Faith. I will admit that I have my own goals in coming to Oldtown, and it wasn't just to put distance between myself and the party that Lord Farman has deigned to throw.
Perhaps we can aid each other in our goals here. I will lend my name and my sword against the false septon, but I will need your aid in this matter. There is much more at play here than a single rogue stirring the masses. If the Crown's reforms hadn't favored the privileges of the Faith so much, then Abelar might not have had the gall to act so boldly. If your brother is to be avenged and such a tragedy is to be avoided in the future, then some distance must be made between the Iron Throne at the Faith. I am but one voice, but if a lady as distinguished as yourself were to join me in voicing such concerns, then perhaps others might see the wisdom of our perspective."
Basically he's asking her, or her surrogate(s), to also agitate for Fire during the Trial. Willing to enter into an intrigue if necessary.

All of that will mean nothing if that foul septon walks free, will it not? Kyra is skeptical of such an arrangement, Abelar's crimes must be addressed strongly and firmly here and now, there will be no other chance. Surely there will be ample opportunity to criticize royal policies at a later date? Dancing it is. Intrigue Iniative: 4d6 14Free Deception: 6d6k4 9 Bahaha. Perhaps only if the septon is found guilty, Kyra remarks. It might be possible that the Tribunal exonerates him and none of it's members cares to go against the consensus to challenge, and why would Abelar call for swords if so? Better ensure that the verdict never will be in his favor in the first place, no? And surely, there are other things that Ser Daeron would want more? Everyone wants something, and that which is closer to home is that which one wants more.

Daeron's interest is piqued, but so far unconvinced. "Surely you don't think that the septon will be found innocent of violating the tenets of the Faith? If so does the Faith actually have the authority or intentions to put him to death?"

Kyra points out that he did walk away free from Highgarden, with nothing more than a slap to the face and being disbarred from the domains of Highgarden. There are enough among the Most Devout who might wish to draw a line as to demonstrate that septons cannot be censored so. Worse, there may be those who actively agrees with his toxic views.

“Perhaps there’s a way that we can both get what we want?”
Offers compromise: Daeron will take all of his actions against Abelar and whatever mystery bribe is being offered, in exchange House Orme will aid/join the Blackfyre cause at another time.

Such words, Kyra notes, tends to herald the reaching of a fine compromise.
Kyra is willing to go all out for team fire at Summerhall in exchange.

Daeron will accept that compromise. Now about that bribe?

What's the price for one of those chargers? 10 Dragons ought to afford a nice one? A big, black and ill-tempered stallion would surely fit this rider, no?
