[Day 12] The Remembrance he would have wanted [Event]

Ser Aemon has a great time, though he also has eyes up the grand prize, so he has a few drinks with his rival for Lady Lysette's hand, egging him on to do scandalous things. Ser Aerion Flowers also has a great time, but convincing Lady Arya Flowers to shed her clothings and dance naked upon the tables, soon drunkenly passing herself around to anyone whom she might please was very ill done, and few miss that he sneaks off with some girl nobody really recognize. But surely he did the deed with some noble lady.

Lord Marq decides that for one night he might let go of the politics, he owed Lord Karl that much, he partakes in drinking, singing, wrestling, he suggests to Mya and Ysilla that maybe they should kiss each other, to which they do not need much convincing, clearly finding such a dare delightful and gives the man a show until Mya must give up for lack of breath, Ysilla makes fun of her for that, pointing out that it was Mya that started with the tongue and everyone bursts out laughing. As the party evolves to the point where nobody really notices anything anymore, Marq decides to do something he had wanted for a long time, or at least for what feels like a long time, he makes a very subtle pass at Lady Alicent, and despite her resolve not to do anything like this, she had long hoped that he would deliver her from Lord Eldon, not only because of his charm, but also because he was one of those capable of doing it. Ser Roland is good husband material, particularly if he can become a lord, but excitement and adventure? This Lord Durwell can provide, and for a brief moment she gets to indulge in this fantasy, what harm could there be in it? After all, that is why they invented moon tea.

Lady Daena Flowers has been tutored by the best, the best big brother a girl can have, the best schemer of them all, even though he claims she only thinks that way because the best are so good at what they do that her eyes and ears fails to notice their work. She knows exactly what is going to happen, so she only sips some wine for the enjoyment of the taste, but she can still have some fun, like dancing with brother Daemon and feel all eyes upon them. And she has picked up enough from his brother's work that Ser Farman is up to no good, so why not practice some scheming of her own?

Ser Farman does not really notice that he was being played, happily partaking in the party, how he has missed this! For two years his shit cousin have denied him this. It is good to let loose. With a few words of encouragement from Lady Daena, he decides to try and exact his vengeance by making cousin Alysanne, shame herself, he almost did it, almost, but almost doesn't matter. Almost will not get Desmond shamed by the promiscuity of Dornish Blood. He had already plucked Lady Daena's flower, so he figures he might go for that of his sister next, truth be told he was looking for Daena, but found Ellyn instead and figured that to have them both would be grand. He gets to have them both in the same day, but fails to consider that sisters talk, and when they learn that he is nothing but a slimy womanizer, they decide that he has no business joining House Roxton.

Lady Jeyne has a good time, flirting, teasing, drinking, stealing away with Farman, dancing with Marq, a pity she could not get a half-breed Dornish to shame herself though, but she can't have everything.

Lady Delia mostly stays with Lady Alicent Yronwood in the civilized and calm corner, opposite Lord Eldon, only nibbling on her wine. She is quite determined to watch the amusing entertainment, not provide any of it, but of course she must dance with Lord Marq and dream a little bit, but the prize on her mind is Ser Preston, and she has learned that he has a rival in Lady Alicent Florent, a worthy adversary, ordinarily one she cannot defeat, unless....Lady Delia may be pretty and polite, but those being caught off their guard by her innocent demeanor and appearance may well learn to regret it.

Lady Alicent Florent had thought to make this a quiet night, but a dare from Lady Delia makes her think again, why can't a lady have some fun, right? Ysilla and Mya seems to have a lot of it and everyone cheers! But unlike them, she does not know how much wine that is safe to drink, at the end of the night she is snoring loudly slumped out on the table, hair ruffled, gown disheveled and just about everyone somehow knows that she gave Ser Symon Starkwood her maidenhead, and wild speculations as to who else she fucked, given her other unexplained absence.

Ser Imry Levalle behaves as if his wife had not attempted suicide earlier in the day, drinking, japing and wrestling, even getting in the sack with his liege lord's daughter.

Alena Flowers sees no reason to hold back anything, besides she has a new Lord Willum to conquer. Her actions does little to stymie her rumored promiscuity.

            Mikel had no intention of getting drunk.  He was taking a hardy dose of milk of the poppy for his wounds and did not want to become a stumbling, bumbling fool by adding in too much wine.  So more then he might partake of on a typical night but not nearly as much as everybody else seemed to be enjoying.  He enjoyed the stories of Lord Karl and the festive feel to the night, it was as if everybody was truly enjoying themselves and the darkness of the tourney was keeping itself outside the inn.  He sang, he danced, and he toasted.  Then he did his best to meet some women, unwed and unpromised, and get to know them a bit more intimately, putting his failure with Ysilla behind him but happy to be able to think of her as a friend.  At one point in the night he even played horse for her as she jousted against Lady Laena riding Ser Balon.  It was a night of revelry and good will to remember.

            Right up until Lord Eldon Merryweather clearly put Lady Tanselle into a corner.  He excused himself from his company of the moment and was walking towards Lord Eldon before realized it.  As Lady Tanselle ripped open her bodice and made her declaration Mikel is close enough to be noticed.  He see's Lord Eldons men and knows that his involvement risks his life, and he is in no condition to fight, but is compelled to act somehow.  "Lord Merryweather."  He says loudly and bows deeply.  "I am Ser Mikel of Harroway and was one of the few men who through the mob to protect you and yours during the riot.  If you can forgive my untimely intrusion I beg a word."  Mikel feels shame in his approach, pouring honey over his words to a rapacious coward.  Yet losing his life here and now, even if killing Lord Merryweather, would not be a purchase worth the price when the world was so full of wicked men.

[OOC:  If possible a thread between Merryweather and Mikel would be ideal, as I could use that thread to intervene in the second incident if Mikel deemed it necessary.]
