Alliser nods, "indeed it is true. He would be a great master of the game to learn from for you. If he were here. As it is there is another Lord who you could speak to who is quiet good at leveraging his personal charm into friends and a following." Alliser guffaws, "and that sort of game I have little experience in. But perhaps if you speak with him and listen you might learn some insights into how to better leverage your charm and Martial skill into friendships with other Lord's," He recommends.

Parmen was a knight not a courtier but even he could tell well enough when he was being bridled and guided like a horse on a tight lead..
"Who might this noble lord be, good father?"

"Lord Marq Durwell" He says simply. "He has preformed quite well in the tournament, to no ones real surprise, but he also helped command the reach forces in the mock battle." Alliser looks towards Parmen, "He is one of the best jousters in the reach, a tournament favorite. His ability to gather friends and followers would be a great way to ensure our houses safety. For the more friends we can have, the more likely we can influence them not to march against us should we end up on opposite sides of the conflict, or maybe even convince them to switch sides entirely.

"Lord Marq and I served under Ser Donnel. I believe that I made a favorable impression. Do you wish me to seek him out now?"
