That's ok, if I win the head honcho commander position I'll have him play true to his beliefs that Dornish send their women to fight and make him wear a dress Eh, promise him the vanguard then don't assign him a unit.... and order him to charge. Have I ever told you about the Brawling specialist that could take out warfare units by himself? Edit: Ranged and Sword wielders too. Don't want to discriminate (unless it's against Dornish)

Then watch him critically succeed and crumple the reach VANGUARD himself, get all the glory and all the credit for his desperate charge

Ser Vardis of Kingsbridge captain of the companions, a local from Kingsbridge, let's out his rage and frustration against Ser Kevan Oakheart in a way that shocks most who knows him, did he perhaps long for Megelle to be more than a friend? He slams his lance straight into Ser Kevan's vizor, had it been Ser Eldon he faced, he could perhaps be forgiven. Lord Willem storms after him in a black mood, clearly disapproving. Ser Kevan lies lifeless on the field, the maester bending over him shakes his head in frustration
Kevin Oakheart relation to Walgrave is?

Edit: Ranged and Sword wielders too. Don't want to discriminate (unless it's against Dornish) Sounds like 'challenge accepted' to me. Most warfare units are pretty pathetic, compared to well-armed PCs... but if the enemies are played smart they can take out even a well armed and armored knight. In the very first SIFRPG game I ran (a one-shot where we were intentionally pushing the limits) one of my players had a massive greatsword wielding 10d6k7 attack roll behemoth that tried to fight a mob of peasants - essentially a unit of green peasant levies. The peasants won. Pull rider from mount, grabs, interact to remove armor pieces, lots of assists and lots of punches.

Doesnt' look like he is part of the main line as he isn't included in the main Oakheart listing: greatbastards.boards.net/thread/30/cast-thousands. Secondly and OOC: go Ser Vardis! Vengeance for Megelle! Admittedly adds to the tragedy around all of this, which I'm contributing to by partially blinding Ser Norren and failing my Romantic/Honour-bound roll and giving up part of my ransom.

Weep, apologies for my powerhouse rolling against Ser Addam in the joust. 1) Why can't I have these good rolls for myself? 2) Sorry for inflicting these fluke results on a fellow PC and Companion to make matters worse. Clearly we've uncovered the hidden traitor mechanic...

So long as I made it past round 3, I'm happy with any result. Now its time to command the Reach's army with 7 DoS!

Big plays 101 as Ser Titus rightly realises that the Burden of Leadership thread has been cursed by Lord Orokos and his fourth dice from a spent Glory comes through for him on the Warfare roll. greatbastards.boards.net/post/7293/threadAddam - delighted you made it through, fine stuff. Glad you're getting to use your splendid Burden rolls and sure PCs will rally round to help you with any NPC taunting needed to lower their scores and avoid having to joust for command.

Just wait until my dad gets here!
Also; Is there any hierarchy within commanders? I could through BotA raise my total DoS to 7, would that make any difference? Aerion already sits on top with 8.

They are close to putting the two worse commanders in charge of the whole thing!

"Highest total DoS for your chosen side: You will be given the command for your side in the battle-enactment. In the case of a tie, the matter will be settled by jousting. " - greatbastards.boards.net/thread/451/day-5-burden-leadership-eventPCs can then use Taunt to lower NPC scores down, so might be worth using Blood of the Andals.
