Quite so. One of the boldest actions so far - nice to see you and others using their drawbacks to drive plot.
I fear part of the difference here is that Redtusk would go "Noble" and just attempt to dismount you. In jousting terms, Butterbumps might be more of the "Switch to Brutal" type.
Looking forward to throwing some reaction in to the Butterbumps thread, given Roland's religious views and interactions with several of the NPCs targeted (Janna Hightower, Alicent Yronwood). Plus it let's me play up to the IC consensus view that fools are hilarious (I always enjoyed that Stannis didn't find them amusing, and has closer to a modern sense of humour). I was mainly waiting to resolve things with Daeron's confession scene to avoid any weird timing issues, but it looks like that is done.
I thought you played out the Zealout check really well and look forward to seeing any further development plus D9's rumours. They might go ill for you and Daeron. In Chuck D's case the D was for dangerous, but Butterbumps might go for Daeron the Dishonoured, Despicable, Distasteful etc...
Is particularly good, and will probably prompt Roland to risk the wrath of the fool by stepping in and offering the Septon an excuse to leave, just waiting for any Butterbumps response to you first. Admittedly, having weakness pointed out might enrage the Septon, as Roland's idea of providing a convenient excuse to leave probably won't be desperately subtle and many people don't like to be seen to taking the option to back down or to be pitied.

The septon is practically sputtering to retort to each of Butterbumps' horrid slanders. "It's YOUR arse that will feel the bite of a pyre-spit and--""--I DON'T look like that when I turn--""--SHE WAS WEARING A GOWN, NOT A SKIRT!" He immediately freezes as he realizes what he has said. The many eyes of the crowd are on him, unwelcome for perhaps the first time of his life. Abelar takes an unsteady step backwards, but it's too late. He can see it in the fool's eye.
