LaenaSer Rolland is taken aback, confused, enough so for the girl to slip away and the man himself, maybe realizing what the reactions around the room is like, backs down and mutters "As you say, my lady". Obviously not happy with this turn of events. The situation is resolved for the time being, though caution might whisper that the serving girl perhaps should be nowhere to be found until they have departed in the morning. DaeronThe knight's smile vanishes into seething anger at Daeron's response, the drink combined with being humiliated and provoked in front of his friends is too much, he stands up with a darkness in his eyes, and an ill advised insult escalates into an even worse advised emptying of his tankard into Daeron's face, with men across the room starting to pick sides in the brawl they sense coming. Wise Knight?: 3d6 6Uhm, no.

The situation is resolved for the time being, though caution might whisper that the serving girl perhaps should be nowhere to be found until they have departed in the morning. Having saved the woman, at least for the moment, what Laena was about to do she could, perhaps, in hindsight, justify. Such a justification would, however, be a lie. In truth, the only reason was that she was pissed off, and the rational part of her brain was still minding her own business back at her table. A drunk man acting horny, knight or no, was as natural as night following day. Oh, he'd gone too far, but other than being too noisy, he wasn't what had her ire. "Good man." She steps past him, and challengingly stares at the rest of the room, locking eyes briefly with every knight who sat idly by when called to action. "..Unlike all of *you*! When we get to Oldtown, I expect to see all of you exchange your swords for Septa's robes. When a *woman* has to act, in a room full of people dressed as men, it's clear there's not a single set of balls between the lot of you! Be Better!" Before striding back to her table, where the rational part of her mind was still desperately signalling for her to shut up.

BalonSer Balon's plan does not proceed fully as hoped, Ser Victor is not foolish or drunk enough to not get suspicious at a free gift of drink, and just like that he waves Balon over, though in a cheery and grateful mood, if perhaps somewhat suspicious as to his motives. Balon may yet prevail in a contest of drinks, or if unsuccessful, swing Ser Victor's interests away from the wench in the process, or maybe render him too wasted to bring her along. Wildfyre was no stranger to anger as the furious temper that he inherited from the Unworthy began to rise within him. He knew that rage was like setting fire to kindling, either it must be snuffed out as it was building or it would burn until it ran out of fuel. One last time he opted for a more "diplomatic" approach in the hope of snuffing out Ser Nobody's temper. Of course by "diplomatic" we mean he tried to defuse the situation the only way he knew how, doing something that would probably have the exact opposite effect. Leaning into the mystery man's face he growled: "Unless you think you can win the joust with a broken arm I need you toSit. The fuck. Down."A belated moment later he remembered his manners and added, "Ser"
Despite his attempts to peacefully deescalate things his hands remained clenched at his side ready for violence.
He's going to try a simple intrigue against the mystery man in the form of intimidation with the goal of getting him to stand down before a fight breaks out. Inn On The Roseroad - Intimidate: 6d6k4+2 23

Laena
Awkward silence fills the room as almost to a man, most of the knights present suddenly seem to all find something about their boots very interesting. Other seems to want to snap back, but chokes on whatever words are forming in their throats.
Daeron
The man sits down, somewhat happy about having been the one to land the last blow, sort of.
The rest of the room though, appears rather disappointed, having hoped for punches and more to be thrown.

Balon may yet prevail in a contest of drinks, or if unsuccessful, swing Ser Victor's interests away from the wench in the process, or maybe render him too wasted to bring her along. Balon kept a smile on his face as he sat down with Ser Victor and his group. He had no real strong opinion of Ser Victor and if he was being totally honest with himself having a man like Victor as an ally was preferable. But Balon wasn't really thinking about Ser Victor or his dark reputation, he was thinking about what people would say about himself if he let Victor and his men force themselves on this poor girl. Ser Balon just sat idly by while the Kenning brute raped a poor defenseless girl. Who is surprised at that if half the things he did in the Riverlands are true. I'd never let me daughter marry such a heartless blackguard. All this and more ran through Balon's mind as he assessed his opponent. "Lord Karl was one of the few people that could outdrink me. Can you match his prowess?" There was no malice in his voice. Just a simple, friendly challenge. He held up his cup in salute, "May the best man win."***What kind of tests do you want me to make and how many at a time?***

If only I had an event in the pipeline with a built-in mechanic for this sort of thing....oh wait, I do -Make a series of Endurance (Resilience) tests, it starts at TN 0 with +3 TN for each test. -Per Dos: +1 to the next test. -Critical Failure: Pass out. -You may stop at any time, at the end of the event, the alcohol attacks for a number of servings of ale equal to 2/3 of the last TN attempted, if this makes you pass out, you pass out during the scene (but could still outlast your opponent).
