Remember to report DP burnings if you do that. Guard 5 will stand up from prone and then CyB, he'll be at the end of the mass of guards, and he's now #20. TN12: 6d6k4 23 3 DoS = Success, +2 to Health and CD After Mikel struck the bar Robyn followed his lead and was able to break it cleanly apart where Mikel had only cracked it. As the men pushed the gates open a pair of halberds scored hits on Mikel which staggered him. He took a step towards the gate and attacked the hinge, and the old, rusted metal cracked with a rusty colored puff as the gate door crashed into the nearest wall as it fell. Turning back he saw the gate house packed full of men just a pace or two away coming at he and Robyn. All that needed to happen now was the signal. Mikel set his feet, raised his shield, and positioned his sword.

NPC's will signal this round, would actually recommend holding that LA for moving away if Robyn manages to trash his hinge.
You should also do the strength test for holding them back.

But if the roll stands that is fine, but god it was awful LA 2: TToWS: Gatehouse Never Outnumbered (+2 for Inspiring? ): 5d6k3+2 17 even without the +2 still hit TN 12 for 2 CD and HP TToWS: Gatehouse Hold the Door: 6d6k4 20 Hey, same roll! CD: 16 (13) AR: 6 HP: 14/12 I/W/F: 0/0/0 Robyn turns to look at the hinge, giving it a proper wallop as it clangs in aggressive rebellion, turning to Mikel to give him a smile of a man who was full of adrenaline and ignoring the pain that nearly brought him to his knees previously, "One more of those swings and it is sure to fall! Now lets show them how Starkwoods siege!" He turns to the man beside him, barking orders, "GET MY UNCLE HERE TO SHOW THEM WHAT A REAL SWORDSMAN LOOKS LIKE!"

The mission is almost done, as one of the Blackwood men waves a torch back and forth to signal Davos to advance, the gatehouse behind them appears to be filled entirely by Bracken soldiers, and behind them, the ominous approach of a big knight clad in black steel, eschewing the tabard as often is his fashion, barking for the maggots to move aside. The sight of Mikel apparently encouraging him greatly, or maybe that is just imagination?
I doubt you fail to trash the hinge this round, so you're probably moving away with the LA's to link up with the incoming troopers and regain health as we'll be treating this as separate combat scenarios. I'll probably make a new thread for the battle. You could still describe the narrative as heroically holding the gates until friendly forces arrive. Hinge 1: Destroyed. Hinge 2: TN 6 NPC's gives the signal. Mikel takes a step towards the remaining hinge and in the blink of an eye his sword is through it, thanks to its condition verse that of his sword, and this door collapses as the first had. "Its done, lets go! Go go go!" Mikel ensures the others are breaking away from the fight, and joins them as they do so. With his last look he eyes the ominious shape of Otho coming through the ranks. ***If anybody does not Ill update Mikels reaction.

What was supposed to be the difficult part is now over. But the War Council had not anticipated the presence of The Brute of Bracken, though some had found it odd that he had not been encountered anywhere. Unless they knew exactly what was coming and Ser Davos and his men were now charging into a trap that is, it makes no sense to keep one of your strongest and definitely most vicious warriors away from where it counts.
Combat considered resolved, health regained and we're moving into the battle scene (considered the same scene if advantageous to PC's, but I don't think that's relevant). Continued here: greatbastards.boards.net/thread/1516/phase-warriors-seat-act-battle
