Should not a task fall to those most suited for it? This would be a good way to repay those who supported his claim at Highgarden.

Daeron flatters Farman, but he thinks Daeron's force of personality is far greater than his own, why come to him about it?

Daeron isn’t inclined to disagree, but sometimes these matters need a more delicate touch, something that’s very much not his forte.

Also, Daeron finally remembers that he’s an Anointed knight and activates his +5 to ID, boosting it to 16 for the round.

ID: 15 DR: 5 Composure 2/15 Objective: Friendship. Manipulate: 6d6k4+1 12 That's a fail. As far as compromises go, you are asking for a lot already, and you're losing. (The high likelihood of that being the outcome in the first place being why he entertains the intrigue in the first place).

If anybody else was observing their conversation, they’d notice that Daeron was failing to win over his half-brother, anybody but Daeron that is.

Daeron had forgotten how charming his brother could be and many of the points he made had greater wisdom behind them than he expected. Ser Farman might have performed some shady actions and slept with the wrong woman on occasion, but he was still his brother, a Great Bastard, and worthy of respect.
“My apologies brother for trying to put you up to this. I was hoping to strike an early blow against our enemies, but I will find another way to dig Lord Rowan’s claws out of the people of the Reach.
Also..
Also, I’m sorry for striking you at Highgarden. In retrospect it is obvious that Lady Mya was trying to set us against one another, but even had her words been true my actions were still unacceptable.”
In a surprising turn of events he holds his hand out in apology.
He can take more Frustration, but there’s no point. Daeron takes a defeat and gives +2 Disposition to Farman

Farman accepts the apology, though perhaps Daeron ought to get back at Lady Mya, just a thought...

Daeron muses that short of marrying her, he can’t think of any other way to get back at one so wanton and careless of her reputation, but he is open to any ideas that his half-brother might have.

Farman can't claim to have given that matter any thought, other than the generic ideas that one might try on anyone, he cannot really offer any fresh ones.

"There's a chance that I might be visiting her childhood home in the near future. Perhaps sacking Raventree Hall will settle the score?"
He then thinks back to the little snippet that first set him out to see his brother and decides that its likely to be just another piece of spurious gossip. Farman was many things, but he was not so monstrous to forcibly wed his cousin and keep her locked up.
"Brother, before I leave you a piece of advice. Be seen with your lovely wife in public more often. Nasty tongues are beginning to spread nasty rumors about you keeping her locked up at Laughing Stream, so perhaps taking her with you to the next tourney will help to cease these unfair lies? It's all expected when a new lord comes to power following the death of his predecessor and a public expression of fidelity and unity will certainly help the rest of the Reach adjust to House Bridges new leadership."
He shrugs after giving his own advice. Farman was a dragon and would do what he wanted, but hopefully he would see the wisdom of earning the approval, or at least tolerance, of his peers.

Farman would bid him luck, they'd certainly need a lot of it. Raventree Hall is not easy to storm, and surely well stocked for a siege. Like as not, the Iron Throne will put an end to hostilities before such a time.
