Sandor takes a more defensive approach, merely nibbling at Balon, but Roughneck keeps swinging like a madman, and this time lands a very good hit. "Two on one isn't any fair, is it?" Comes a shot from a charging knight, almost in a blur Redtusk rides past, gives Ser Rhys a stinging prod inside his elbow that forces a choice between a world of hurt and falling off, Roughneck opts for the latter, leaving Balon with just one man to deal with. In comes Redtusk: 9d6k4+3 24And away he goes...

Balon reeled from the Roughneck's blow, blood running down his torso from the impact. A part of him wanted to continue fighting, to kill the Dornish cunts that threatened his cousins but this was a melee and the only way to kill them was to continue attacking after they'd yielded. However if he did that he'd cement his reputation as a blackguard and he couldn't do that. Not to his mother, his brother, his cousin Gormon. And he especially couldn't do that to Laena, not after all he'd promised her.
More importantly he needed to stay in good health. He had a pregnant woman to kill after all.
Even when Redtusk came charging in and forced Rhys to yield Balon knew what he had to do. His team was decimated, he was wounded, and there was Ser Sandor still upright and dangerous. With a disgusted grunt Balon yelled,
"I yield!"
It felt wrong to utter the words but Balon knew that was pride trying to override his common sense. It would fade as the day ended and by tomorrow morning he could focus on his mission. Something that mattered far more than a melee.

"You and me, then, ser." Redtusk points a challenge at Ser Sandor, the Daverhyl knight does not so much show any other reaction than making ready to strike. But where most would have expected an even match where Redtusk leverages his swordplay to edge out in the end and carry on as he usually does. Fate appears to have another outcome in mind as Ser Sandor batters his famous opponent like a man possessed, forcing the mighty Redtusk into submission. And Redtusk already has a friendly rival.
