That appears not to be an option, more than one sword makes the bossman nervous, but if that is what ser fears...be reasonable, if a sailor disappears in some whorehouse, nobody bothers. But if an anointed knight of such means disappears, then someone up in the tower will take note, and that is very bad for business. Those fancy lords are far too rich to pay off and the knights they'd send won't get scared off, not like the serjeants of the watch and whoever draws the short straws of being assigned to patrol the Undercity.

"Suit yourselves. Lead on then."
Trystane moves to follow beyond the curtain.

Trystane is shown upstairs and into a relatively clean room, but it's only dimly lit, the first thing he notes is three of the bouncers, just one would likely be a lot to handle in a brawl, but they seem to be there to protect the boss, one is by the door, the other two blocking Trystane's approach to a short and stocky man seated with his back halfway turned to Trystane and his feet in his black boots propped onto a small table which contains a stack of coins and little else. He has long ginger hair tied up in a ponytail and a thick neatly trimmed beard. Whether he has eyes or not Trystane cannot tell, for he wears a black scarf across where they are supposed to be. "I apologize if our vintage is not up to the standards we are used, Ser Sunspear" He must have very good ears or a very stealthy messenger.

"No apology needed. You go with what the punters want. That's just good business. I take it by your choice of headwear that you're Errol? I'm impressed that you recognise a Sunspear voice specifically. Most Westerosi can't tell Dornish accents apart."

If Trystane is irked by the man's reticence, he does not show it.
"I just want to talk. I'm not the Septon's man, if that's what you're thinking. Well, I sort of was in his employ, just a bodyguard, until I saw what a raving lunatic he is. We did not sign up for the axe antics. He made me and my companion look like idiots and we're not alright with that. We had to leave in a hurry, but it meant we did not get the opportunity to properly apologise to you personally for the disturbance and discuss reimbursement for the damage. My companion & I value our reputations, and I'll not have it said we didn't try to make amends when we were in the wrong."

"Good thing about sailors is that they come and go, as long as nobody got hurt, it'll fade away in memory. A moon does not pass by without some big brawl between crews break out because someone insulted someone, though they usually do not have axes..."

"Well, there's a first for everything, I suppose," Trystane responds with a good-natured chuckle. "I am glad there's no hard feelings. Honestly, if I hadn't been under the septon's beady eye, I'd have partaken of the wares and there'd have been no trouble. He thinks you're after him, you know. Says you sent someone to kill him, yet he won't say why. Seems a bit mad, thinking on it. I can see how he'd be the sort to ruffle feathers, but it sounds like there might be more to it. I hardly know the man. Just took a job. Is he a troublemaker around these parts?"
Would this be time for an Intrigue, with the goal of learning about why there was an attempt on Abelar's life and who ordered it?

"No smoke without fire though. He must have some reason to suspect you, surely. Or at least some other grudge that it is masking." Trystane thinks to try convincing Errol with assurances or some other false justification, but suspects those might seem transparent and be dismissed easily. So instead, he subtly tries to use his own personal aura of command, the wordless compelling look that he shares with so many of his siblings.

"Maybe a rival hoped that he would incinerate a competitive establishment?" Errol seems to think that to be quite possible.
In this case, charm is not able to get his disposition high enough to get you what you like, convince, bargain and intimidate would be the suitable strategies you can take. Given that offering coin tends to be the way the game is played, you temporarily gain the effects of Compelling (Bargain) for this intrigue.
Status (Breeding) is 2 DoS, bringing his DR down to 3. ID: 10 DR: 3 Composure: 9 Objective (Convince): Make Trystane believe that Errol knows nothing that can help this search.

[Sounds like Bargain is the way to go then. Should I edit to change Charm to Bargain? I can tweak the narrative to reflect it if that helps]

"I doubt anyone would be foolish enough to think sending a septon round, even with an axe or a burning torch, would be enough to lay low a resourceful, well-connected businessman like you. Your crossbowmen on the balcony could fatally perforate Blackfyre himself if he wandered in and kicked up trouble." Butter him up a bit. Let's see if he'll tell the tale just to show off his power. "It just doesn't make sense to me why the septon would be considered a threat. If there's a story behind it, I'll happily pay for it. I like stories, especially ones about corrupt septons."
