With the crowds dispersing from the sept and various knights making for their tents to prepare for dueling, Ser Aladale Levalle has a mind to ask a very blunt question and having no intention of easing him into the discussion or offer much in the way of options for retreat, to put it simply, what did Ser Titus Blackbriar intend to do to restore his daughter's reputation.

Lady Ashara still laid upon the dias, the warmth of life barely having left her yet and this... Levalle would now swoop down like a vulture and pick himself full, feast on the misery of others as they always do. Lord Alliser had in his musky, honeyed words beseeched Titus to aid him in his quest to sell of his daughters virtue to Longtable, he’d even offered Titus’ a visit from his own flesh and blood as payment and now his brother, this... Levalle huffs and puffs about reputation, restoring something that was given freely in a night of carefree enjoyment. Only a few hours ago.
Titus was tired. All night he had stood vigil over Ashara. All night he has prayed, cursed and regretted. He was in no mood for Levalles.
He turns to Ser Aladale, ”Good Ser, it is not for me to restore your daughter’s reputation, for it is not I who have soiled it. It is you. You and your kin and that name of yours. The greatest blessing you ever could have bestowed upon her is the name of Flowers. For atleast she does not have to bare the name Levalle.”
Titus Spends a DP to convert a Bonus Dice to a Test Dice, making the roll 11 and uses +2 BotA to make it 13. Pass and piss off.

Aladale offers softly that the words of Ser Titus are most impolite, slightly more so than Aladale would have been had he cared to repeat what he had heard about Titus' mother, though Aladale finds politeness preferable, surely some knave having insulted good lady Ashara would suffice for the venting of such foul moods as he might be carrying?
Though as a point of curiosity, Ser Titus may not care much about the reputation of a bastard, only true knights taking their holy charge seriously seems to agree that parenthood matters not and a young woman is not to be preyed upon no matter how high birth they might come from, but most knights that Ser Aladale knows does care about their own reputations.

”Fine words, Ser. Well chosen, well rehearsed and well delivered. Yet they ring false. I will not be accused to have preyed upon anyone, nor to have taken anything that was not freely given. But I imagine a Levalle would have a hard time knowing the difference. Get to it. State your purpose.”

Freely given would indeed be preferable, gelding is mostly done to horses to improve their behavior or to cull weaker specimens from the bloodline, the casual manner in which he speaks makes it difficult to decide whether that should be taken as a threat or a joke. But the fact remains that Ser Titus did avail himself of his daughter, something no proper knight should have done. Surely only knights of weak wills and low morals would, no? Or so the septons claims, septons appears to have a more powerful bite these days than they used to when Aladale was of Titus' age. Of course, there wouldn't be any reason to repeat the tales of how the sons of Ser Donnel had fallen so far from the three as was possible if Ser Titus did the honorable thing and owned up to his little lapse of fortitude, or happened to otherwise show himself a disposition much more helpful to all parties than throwing around insults.

When the Levalle mentions Titus' father his eyes flare up in anger. His swordhand, which before merely had rested on the hilt twitch, eager to now grasp it. The boy is young, hot-headed and foolish and will not have some whoremaster's brother speak to him of family or honour. He is of half a mind to draw his sword and fight Aladale there and then. But after a moment cooler temperaments prevail - for now - and he calms down, if only slightly. His hand remains on the hilt though, "Is that all, Levalle?" the name drips with distain.
Rolling Self-Control for RP purposes, fail will do something stupid. Don't talk about my daddy - Self-control v TN13: 5d6k3 16 - Pass. Will just do something not-clever.

All Ser Aladale is saying is that it just so happens that Ser Balon's reputation is hardly stellar, he had asked Lord Reynald about Lady Lyanna, but the Levalle liege lord had no intention of granting the hand of a Florent to a name invoking such controversy as he. Granted, that has mostly to do with what he did with sword and lance than his cock, though his lack of sound judgement where the honor of women were involved is a part of it. And now Ser Titus appears to be cut out of the same mold, what might that imply about their younger siblings, hmm? Although Lady Delia would appear to have mastered the art of discretion if she shares any such inclinations, but young Vortimer? Who knows?
For their sake, Ser Titus might prefer to be considered a friend of House Levalle, the high road may be pretty, as the saying goes, but you can't march your army down it, or why does Titus think Ser Robert Levalle was raised to lordship? All because of his charming and outgoing personality? Well, he would never have been granted the lordship without, he did win on account of what exactly he used those skills for. All these knights and ladies want comfort, honor, love. They don't want to see that such things are fragile, and thus they turn to men like Ser Robert Levalle to do what must be done to keep the great wheel turning, Gardener, Tyrell, Baratheon, Lannister, this one's on top, then that one's top and on and on it goes, crushing the smallfolk in it's tracks and woe to those falling off the wagon.

That's it.
This Levalle wasn't even a vulture, swooping down - he was vermin. A fat rat propped up on a mound of filth thinking it was a throne. And the rat kept pushing and pushing. No respect for murdered Lady Ashara, no respect for the fallen Ser Donnel, all the rat saw was his next meal. And he would keep dragging and pushing and threatening until he got his way, Titus would not have it. His family was not Levalle, his family would not be dragged in the mud by some rat.
The glove comes off swiftly and bounces of Aladale's chest.
"Lies, threats and slander. I wonder if you have the balls to stand for them yourself, Ser."

Sometimes it matters not if the tale is true or not, long as it is sufficiently oft retold. Such as Ser Balon and Lady Jeyne, or Ser Balon and Ser Walton, or The Brute of Bracken's killing spree under Ser Balon's command in the Grand Melee. Maybe not all of it is true, but one begins to wonder. Ser Aladale only observes what people are claiming, he himself being neither witness to Ser Balon's thoughts or private words, but surely Ser Robyn would be willing to stand for Lady Alena's honor, for that is how the realm will see it. Ser Titus dishonoring a young lady and soiling himself, and House Levalle acting as honor demands.
Of course, it would be a terrible waste to create animosity where amicable relationships might instead be established.
