Hah! I wonder how far you can follow that. Perhaps they read passages in the books that inspire them to keep reading...so pages turn pages to turn pages?
Well, there's no shortage of tall knights in House Starling. I'm just concerned if I ask one to help me fetch books he'll consider himself invited to propose or something.
Besides, I can find some trashy tomes...anything Erdagan of Braavos wrote for example...and stack them up and step on them and then all is well. If I keep my balance!
What do you like to read?

Ah! Not so different! The high ones are hard to reach, the trashy ones stack, and it's always wise to keep your balance around them.

High, low, they've all got their covers and what's inside. Balance though, yes. Balance is good. EDIT: but we are wasting good IC banter on an OOC thread. Let's save some for later.

House Starling's dream team grows. Let's cause some drama! Also the below is a strong contender for quote of the month: "What do you like to read?" "People."

Just a quick update for those who are considering joining: assuming Cleyton is still Starkwood-bound, houses Starkwood and Levalle both have 5 PCs (we gained an Aerion!), while Starling and Blackbriar, to the best of my knowledge, both have 3.
Therefore, if (and only if!) you can fit your concept into one of the latter two houses, I suggest (and it is *only* a suggestion) that you do. The game does work better with reasonably-balanced houses.

If you’re going to be at the Bittersteel event you could meet Addam.

Any PCs willing to mingle with an old knight? Once I've decided on my Bread and Salt choices and posted there, I'll happily chat to you for a while as part of the mingling of that event, if you don't object to it, since PC/PC interactions aren't limited. However, this is the Character Creation OOC thread. I believe this conversation would be best served moving to the general OOC thread.

I think that is the thread for Fathers rumours, He said he'd post there before some of the days? And the other threads didn't seem like the right place either? Ser Donnel would willingly chat to a lovely young woman, although he might become a bit suspicious if he learns that she is a bastard! If you’re going to be at the Bittersteel event you could meet Addam. Ser Donnel would not be present, he likes to keep away from politics, which is his brothers responsibilites.

No, it's a standard OOC thread, just with a fancy OP.
I'll be locking it and start a new standard OOC thread with another fancy OP at some day change in the future, I'm too lazy to check when that will be, and I might get creative ideas for others in the meantime.

I am interested in picking up Lord Alliser
I am thinking the drawbacks Avaricious, Blackmailed, and Prejudiced Dorne
for benefits I am thinking head of house, Head for numbers, and connections Highgarden

That sort of thing probably belongs in private messages to the Game Master (Father). Unless you want us all knowing your secrets.

lol well I am guessing that most people are well aware of *something* going on with Lord Alliser. Hence the having to be *very* careful about letting people know where his loyalties lie
