Ser Vorian might be tiring, perhaps even desperate, though when he throws away shield and one-handed sword to draw his finely crafted replica of Dawn and brings it down upon Balon with all his might, him being hurt or tired appears far from any thoughts likely to race through anyone's mind.
CD: 4 AR: 10 Health 4/12 Fatigue 4 Injuries 3 Might as well go out with a bang. Drop sword and board, draw big fucking sword: Reckless attack (fatigue to ignore injuries): 9d6k6-2 25 That's more like it 4*9-10=26 damage Fatigue for maneuver: 9d6k6-3 28 -1D to Balon

Technique: Cautious CD: 17 (14 + 3 Cautious) AR: 10 HP: 8/12, Tough F/I/W: 3/0/1 Damage: 5 / DoS ______________________________________________________________ When your prey is cornered and wounded is when it's at its most dangerous . Words given to Balon by Fireball. Words that Balon needed to pay better attention to. For the briefest of moments Balon thought Ser Vorian was going to yield when he dropped his sword and shield but then he drew his greatsword and brought it down on Balon. Slicing through armor the greatsword bit deep into Balon's shoulder. A few inches to the left and his head would've been split in two. Balon could feel blood running down his arm and torso. If he was lucky it'd only need stitches and time to heal. If he was unlucky.... Balon didn't want to think about that. Take Fatigue to ignore Wound LA: Aim LA: Phase 2, Vulture Hunt, R6 vs. Vorian, Cautious Attack + Aim: 9d6k4-1 18 14 18, 3 DoS, 15 - 10 AR = 5 Damage ( Forgot -1D from Maneuver, No change to DoS)
Edit 2: To get -1D from Maneuver you need 2 DoS. FTG 5, LB 3b, Superior Weapon is Passive of 24. 28 doesn't get to 2 DoS.

He slows down from that exertion, but if this is how Ser Vorian is when tired and injured, one shudders at the thought of what might have happened had he opted for his big sword from the beginning.

Continuing to use a defensive posture Balon struck again at the gaps in Vorian's armor.

And with that blow, Ser Vorian Dayne, possibly the toughest opponent besides Blackfyre himself that Balon has ever faced one on one is spent.
Can't take wounds->Defeated

Result of defeat: Death.
Balon was hurt, he was bleeding, he was tired, but he was winning. Ser Vorian's attacks became slower and slower. The Dornishman brought his greatsword up for a final swing but Balon reacted too quickly, deflecting it with his longsword then following up with a riposte to Vorian's neck. Balon felt his blade hit soft tissue and the sword sunk in as Balon pressed as hard as he could. There was a gurgle that emerged from Vorian's helm but nothing else as he slowly slumped to his knees, then fell to his side. Withdrawing his sword from Vorian, Balon stood over him for a moment making sure he wasn't playing dead. He kicked the greatsword away then slowly bent down to remove the helm of his defeated foe. Lifeless eyes stared up at him and Balon felt a sense of satisfaction. He whispered, "I'm going to kill you all."
Vortimer.
Balon stood and turned to his younger brother, marching over to him and grabbing him. Using his last reserves of strength he dragged Vortimer over to the hedge knight Vorian had killed. He shook him while he spoke, "This knight is dead because of you, you dumb fuck. You're here to follow my command. Ser Horas explicitly told you such. Our father followed orders, he did his duty whether he liked it or not. Remember that." He released his brother and looked at the hedge knights and men-at-arms. "I show no favorites here. This squire aided and abetted the enemy resulting in the death of this knight." He pointed to the dead hedge knight, "Relieve Squire Vortimer of his arms and armor. He will carry our fallen comrade back to camp. He will be detained until Lord Walgrave decides his punishment."
With the adrenaline wearing off the pain of his wound came to the fore of his mind. "And someone get me a fucking bandage for my shoulder."
Not sure what standard punishment is but I'd suggest forfeiture of spoils, flogging, or corpse detail.

Will Daeron and Addam get a chance to intrigue with Lord Walgrave to prevent a drop in disposition?

"My squire is mine to chastise, and Lord Walgrave need only know that casualties were suffered, ser." Ser Horas declares. "And we would all do well to remember that we are not on Lord Walgrave's lands, the more who know, the less likely it is that all keep silent and Lord Bloodraven need only one man to put to the question to get the names of the rest. Freeriders he'll hang, the rest gets the choice between the wall or facing Ser Vorian's brother like as not, and a gorget of steel would not stop *his* sword.

"And we would all do well to remember that we are not on Lord Walgrave's lands, the more who know, the less likely it is that all keep silent and Lord Bloodraven need only one man to put to the question to get the names of the rest. No fucking shit. "Everyone here is aware, ser." Balon was in no condition to argue about Vortimer's punishment or what they'd just done. "Take everything of value, collect the wounded and dead, and bring him." Balon kicked Vorian's corpse. "Leave no trace that we were here."Abridged version: Remove anything that would indicate we were here. Taking Vorian's corpse to A) claim his superior equipment and B) tie into your narrative of Vorian disappearing. Dornish bodies will be dumped somewhere for the carrion feeders. Consult with Lord Walgrave on anything else that is pertinent.
/scene for Balon (unless Father has something else)

Best put corpses under rocks off the beaten path, just enough for the crows not to lead the way. The sellswords quickly avail themselves of their fallen comrade's possessions. The markings of his arms and armor would also be best taken care of by a smith with a propensity for discretion. Lord Walgrave would be inclined to keep his helm as a trophy, Ser Horas notes, might not be the best of ideas to let him put it on display for the wrong person to see, there would be eyes everywhere.

Addam can make awareness (notice), cunning (logic) and cunning (memory) tests if he likes. (Balon and Titus *could*, but nothing interesting they don't already know can be had from the results).
