Willas Tyrell weathered Daeron's attack and remained resolute in the face of a series of strikes that would have driven back much of the Reach's chivalry. Truly Ser Willas was his father's son! He managed to force Daeron to his knees at the second time of asking, using his new height advantage to rain down painful blows. Daeron felt the first trickle of blood begin to slide down the inside of his armor, but if he could face down the Brute of Bracken and Ser Manfryd, he could take down Ser Willas. Having been knocked down, he uses his own momentum to pull the other knight down with him with his left arm, and with his right plunges his sword upwards into his breastplate.

Willas caught off guard by his opponent's deft maneuver, the more powerful knight easily forcing him down. However he was not done yet, and as Daeron dragged him to the ground he somehow managed to keep a grip of his blade. He swiftly made good use of it, using the heavy hilt to batter his foe around the head. Daeron had strained every once of energy to defend himself, and the exertions proved necessary else Willas might have near made an end of things there and then. The crowd was getting everything it could have hoped for and more, the cheering intensified at this display of fervour and skill. Brawling in the mud favored neither man, and the heir to Highgarden's continued blows began to push Daeron's willingness for abuse to its limits. Until that was he noticed the fine scriptwork and gilding on the man's armor. No longer driven by glory, he really wanted that ransom. No. He needed it. The Dragon within would not permit defeat when such a bounty was on the line. Tumbling around he gave it right back, utilizing his greater strength to hopefully force his opponent to submit.

Ser Willas fought on gamely, but for the moment seemed intent on fighting defensively - Daeron was stronger, but maybe Highgarden's heir could prevail by tiring the dragon? CD: 10-> 18 (LBF I +5, Cautious Attack) AR: 10 Health: 2/12 W/I/F: 0/2/1 [Ser Willas Takes two injuries to prevent the damage] Lesser action: Aim Lesser action: Glory at the Lists R4 cautious attack +aim 1B -5 LBF I: 5d6k4 11 - 0 DoS, but stacks up some more fatigue

LBF I only allows bonus dice in long sword for passive increases. So assuming he has 3B with Cautious Attack his CD can only go up by 6.

Parrying Ser Willas' attack, perhaps with too much force, he again gives him a solid thumping.

Things were desperate now, the crowd roaring along at the sheer drama of it all. Blinking blood back from his eyes, Ser Willas continued to hammer at the joints in Daeron's armour with his hilt. Before he was frustrated, but now Daeron was just angry that the little bastard refused to yield. With a wild swing he ignored the pain and exhaustion of the battle as he delivered a blow meant to end the fight then and there.
Now is as good of a time as any to playtest Berserker. Takes 2 injuries, enters Frenzy CD: 1 (Ha!) He's failing now, I've worn the Dragon do-.
Then it all went black for Willas, caught off guard by Daeron's sudden burst of energy.
[OOC: Outcome - defeated, victor chooses consequences.]
The crowd cheered at the dramatic climax to this tilt, this was what people hoped to see when Wildfyre entered a tournament!

*Consequences of defeat are unconsciousness and ransom.
There was blood streaming from Willas’ armor. Too much for his liking.
Dropping his arms he scoops up Ser Willas, and with trembling legs carries his fallen opponent to the maester’s tent. Where he remained until the Tyrell heir regained consciousness (and for his own treatment).
“Ser Willas, it does my heart good to see that you are as stubborn in recovery as you are in combat.”

The semi-final sees Ser Daeron drawn against the man widely considered the favorite in this company, none other than Ser Roland Redwyne. A mighty challenge even if he had emerged from unscathed from his last match.
Not a lucky dice result, probably the second worst draw out of a lot where 2/3 of the names you'd have about 50-50 chance against. Animal Handling 4 Ride 2 Endurance 5 Resilience 2 Fighting 5 Lances 2 Armor Mastery, Tough, Tourney Knight+2, Talented(Fighting), Talented (Animal Handling) Superior Full Plate Superior Destrier Goes noble. Should he gain a large lead due to DoS, and Daeron begins to go Aggressive he probably does show-off to take advantage of reduced TN.

Redtusk was tough luck for Daeron. He was the champion of the Grand Melee at the Black Tourney and a formidable jouster regardless, but after his most recent brawl with Ser Willas he was feeling confident. Or maybe it was the Milk of the Poppy muddling his right mind.

Redtusk was one of the finest knights in all of Westeros in both skill and bearing, and few men could stand against him even uninjured. He dealt a thumping blow to Daeron's shield, but at least the noble Redwyne aimed his blow at the Great Bastard's shield, content to merely attempt to drive his foe to the dust.
