"Curious, though I had expected that Farman would have left by now, frustrated by Desmond's parsimony." He scratches the back of his neck. "But no matter, the question of inheritance won't come before Bittersteel gets to start the rebellions he wants."
"And should they try anything, they will learn just how much Ysilla restrains herself to mostly fit into polite society, messing with those she truly cares for is about as advisable to step between a bear cub and his mother, and then kick the cub with all your might. You saw for yourself how she reacted to Ser Otho messing with someone she just happened to give her favor to because the Brute was mean to your Ser Mikel."

"While I doubt he would inform Ser Farman of his intentions, if even half the rumours about Bittersteel are true, he is not a particularly patient man, and may well seek to ... expedite the situation, to ensure House Bridges supports him in his rebellion. After all, Lord Jon has already fallen to assassins for much the same reason this tourney, albeit the other way around." Her tone is cautious - clearly concerned, but not wanting to prick his male pride by implying he is anything less than invulnerable.
Her smile steadily widens as he talks about her half-sister. "The more I hear about Lady Ysilla, the more I like her." Her smile turns melancholic momentarily. "Aside from Aerion, I don't really know many siblings that I could honestly say I'm *proud* to call such. Perhaps more a factor is that I don't *know* that many of them, but still, I genuinely think she could be the first sister I actually *like*."

"Or he might just be interested in recruiting another Great Bastard to his rebellion, as far as glorified sworn swords and natural siblings goes, people pay a lot of attention to whatever opinions you may have." He seems to find the whole things rather amusing.
"Ysilla is a wonderful person, and also an example of how refusing to fully grow up makes your life all that much better. She would have joined me on the road given half a chance."

She sighs. "Maybe. Seven knows, I tend to expect the worst of people. Promise me you'll keep a wary eye open at least? If for no other reason than I'll sleep better at night."
She smiles at his description of Ysilla. "I think we differ, there. While I may find it an interesting change of pace to start, I'm afraid I'm like you, and too attached to my comforts to travel like that for long. And I don't even have the excuse of age."
The day is coming to an end, and I think, with this, I've covered everything I wanted to for this meeting, so if he doesn't give a particularly reaction-worthy response, I'm happy to call it /scene after that, with us happily riding back.

"Perhaps, though she might not complain of an indefinite pause at Highgarden. She would like the idea of travelling to see the world, but she might not enjoy the roads in between places, but no discomfort would stop her from seeing Dorne, Harrenhaal the Wall and all the other places if she has decided that she *wants* to." He smiles at the comparison.
/scene it is then.
