"Lord Alliser," offered Roland with a bow for his social better, however black the man's deeds.
"I am Ser Roland Cordwayner, sworn sword in service to Lord Starling. You rode a fine course against the Prince, but outdid this in speaking out against Ser Otho."
Best to stick to the truth and not tarry too long in this one's presence.
[OOC: Awareness (Empathy) TN8, while sincere, Roland is also doing his best to be polite and overcome his revulsion at Lord Levalle's reputation. Indeed he's slightly relieved Lord Levalle has done some honourable deeds recently for him to remark on!]

"ah Ser Roland" Lord Alliser gestures at Ser Donnell, "this is the good Knight you told me about yesterday."
The smaller Lord glanced over at Roland with look of appraisal, "here is what a Knight should look like. " Unlike some Lord's Merryweather's recent oafishness. "if I remember correctly you were in some business about riding for a ladies honor? What was her name again?"

"My lord is kind, I can but hope to match appearances by my deeds then. I would not make a liar of Ser Donnel."
Roland attempted to remain guarded, but polite. The Spongeholder will be fishing for something, always manipulating others...
"I do indeed have the honour of riding for lady Janna Hightower. Ser Quentyn Ball should not have spoken such at her great uncle's remembrance ceremony. It was fitting that I had the chance to chastise him on her family's behalf while wearing her favour."
Laena's words had sparked him to greater boldness to speak out against those agitating on Ser Daemon Blackfyre's behalf.

"A good deed, a provocation like that should never go unanswered. Just make sure you unseat him! Otherwise people will claim the tournament master is being biased!" Ser Donnel advices.

"indeed Ser Donnell. It is there stuff stories spring from." Still seems a bit guarded. Perhaps a comment on the Lady he is riding for father would not go amiss. , "I knew Lord Hightower from when I was a squire for Lord Florent. He always seemed to be a proper reach Lord. Terrible the way he passed. My only condolence from this unhappy situation is that my brothers words were so well put. Much finer words then I myself could find as such an occasion." Lord Alliser sighs wistfully, "sometimes it is best to leave better men to speak the words and stronger men, such as yourself and Ser Donnell, to right the blemishes on such a solemn occasion." There well dressed Lord gives a nod off his head to the younger stronger knight, "such men of action as yourself and Ser Donnell. I'm glad to be able to do my small part in working with great men in adjunct to help seek out who his killers might have been. Thus in my own small way he'll bring closure to his family."
