"I think it should suffice if my lady strives to see to it that Kingsbridge is ruled by wit and wisdom, gods know that far too many lords and knights are guided by something else entirely." Margaery mostly acts the kindly old woman, though she remains sharp. "I care not for the schemes of today, there will be a war tomorrow, or the day after tomorrow, and then new schemes must be laid and it goes on and on and on. The advantage of being me is that I am old, coddled, and without responsibilities, the disadvantage is that I wake up with some ache or pain to remind me that the stranger did not claim me in the night."
