If Robyn had intended to provoke a duel, he succeeded easily at his objective. Even if he had not already diluted his sensibilities with wine, such an insult could not be ignored by any self-respecting knight. If sober, however, the Oakheart sworn sword might not have met it with drunken boasts of how he would send the young whelp into the mud, and when Robyn has had enough, he would be bent across the knee to be spanked by the flat of his sword. Inspired by Redtusk, no doubt, who once had done exactly that to the knight who's squire had insulted his sister Pia. Something about teaching that knight how to properly educate his charge.
This knight, however, was probably mostly like the one Redtusk had so humiliated than the other way around.
Mikel is largely ignored, some younger knights of summer, all in service to staunch loyalists of course, does show an interest in the tale of Warrior's Seat, and he does not have the unfortunate heritage from the wrong side of The Red Mountains like Davos and Robyn.
Walgrave Oakheart disposition towards Robyn is now -5 (This includes being a filthy half-breed, aligned against him in the grand scheme of things...and humiliating his knight), the actual duel is not going to be very interesting unless you plan on Robyn messing him up, (fair) fights against NPC's I haven't named tends to be rather one-sided.

Among the knights of summer that leaned towards the Blackfyre cause, Daeron found many eager to lap in the tales of war, though getting into their heads how brutal and ugly real combat actually could be like, as opposed to their notions of neatly dividing everyone into heroes and blackguards fit for tales told to children. He does make note of a slight coldness towards him from the Oakheart men, but hardly anything like the negative attention that lord pays to Davos and any who might be seen as sympathizers for the Starfall knight.
Ysilla is all for novelty, but if she signs up under some bland sigil and fails to show once the opposition becomes too difficult, it would be rude to such knights as she defeats should she be unmasked. Most knights could use a little dent in their pride, true enough. But the hardship that would be inflicted upon them by the meanies just for being beaten by a girl...but if she signs up as the Anvil Gloom Knight, everyone can guess that it was her, but none would be be truly shamed as long as she disappears before she risks unmasking. Surely Laena can see the appeal in the scheme?
To Laena, it sounds suspiciously as something Marq had told her to try and manipulate someone who would only be encouraged by the standard ways of being told that she should not do anything of the sort, but her half-sister is hardly stupid in working on a solution to such valid concerns, however much stupid knights can be. It's like their spurs shifts their thinking from between their legs to down them...like how it goes when they soil themselves in battle, can't very well unbuckle when trading blows with the enemy?
Much like Davos, Roland, too, can feel Lord Walgrave's dislike of him, though hardly as intense or as far reaching. Perhaps it would be more pronounced without other targets he dislikes much, much more.

It's like their spurs shifts their thinking from between their legs to down them...like how it goes when they soil themselves in battle, can't very well unbuckle when trading blows with the enemy? Laena raises a curious eyebrow. "It is not as if skilled opponents don't fight through the early ranks as well, and a mystery knight is a 'safe' choice for an organiser to pit a talent against without upsetting any lords wishing to get past the early rounds. And a mystery knight with such a history - half-remembered and possibly mythological it may be - is all the better for such a purpose, before anyone important could be embarassed." She holds up a finger. "In addition, tell me this: did you predict Ser Cleyton Bolton reaching the quarter-finals of the Black Tourney? Did you predict young Ser Robyn Starkwood unhorsing Lord Leo Tyrell? Because if you didn't, I can spot an obvious flaw in your plan. If you did, I want you whispering in my ear come the next tourney." Her tone is a mix of being a concerned elder sister, mixed with regret over pointing out problems with her idea, implying that she's not against it in principle, merely daunted by the excessive risk.

Excluding Roland, among the rest in order of appearance: 1d4 1So that's Robyn. Act 1 markers: Robyn Laena Prejudice applies not for Roland and Mikel. Act 2: The Distressed DamselMaking his way back to the festivities after making a call on nature, or some other errand, Robyn hears what sounds like a woman sobbing just around the corner, some might think such a thing would be of no concern to them, none of their business or simply someone else's problem. Most such people are likely not young knights.
Robyn could walk by and we'll skip straight to act 3, but odds are that is what some other PC would be inclined to do. Everyone else, including Robyn, can keep doing act 1 if it pleases them.

After the challenge made by the drunken fool, Robyn left the festivities to catch his breath. He looked skyward, muttering to himself. The rage that was bubbling in his chest was becoming too much to handle, expelling it by lashing out at a tree. The balled fist collided with the stout trunk, sending a tremor through it that shook a bird from its perch. Robyn watched it take flight, before the sobbing caught his attention.
He peeked around the corner, keeping his voice gentle as he spoke, "My lady, are you alright?"

"Just...just go away" A lantern just a few yards away gives Ser Robyn a clear view of Lady Wenda Footly, a pretty face is hard to forget, even if it might not match that of Falyse, at least not in Robyn's eyes. He might also remember hearing of the incident where she was harassed by Ser Marq Warren and who knows what might have happened if Ser Trystane had not come by that evening some time ago, a tense standoff had ensued the way Robyn had been told that tale, but like most bullies, Ser Marq had proven to be a craven once confronted by a credible threat.
Lady Wenda sits leaning up against the wall, knees pressed up against her chest, eyes staring at nothing in particular on the ground before her, she does not look up at Robyn. Her gown has been torn open at her shoulder, of which she obviously is beyond caring for, her skirts are unlikely to be any ladylike sitting on the hard packed dirt, and the elaborate knot of hair at the back of her neck has partially come undone, most ladies in the Reach would not be caught dead with such a disheveled appearance.

His face hardened for a brief moment, not at her but the circumstance. It was obvious that something foul was afoot, and even though he had already agreed to a duel for tomorrow, what was one more pig to kill?
And if it was Marq Warren, well, he would take great pleasure from butchering him.
But his expression changed to genuine concern as he tried to meet her gaze. Robyn walked slowly forward, kneeling down a few paces away from Lady Wenda. He didnt want to get too close, especially with her current disheveled state, but he didnt want her to feel like there was no one there either. His voice remained gentle, "My Lady Wenda, do not think, even for a moment, that I would leave after seeing you in such a state of disarray. You are worth more than that.
"My name is Ser Robyn Redwolf," he smiled at her, not a prideful smile that he typically gave, but a softer, charming one. Soothing eyes and a focused brow were pointed in her direction as he spoke, "If you truly wish for me to leave, then I will do so. I will not force you to endure my company: I hear I talk too much and have quite a pungent smell. But I will stay and sit in silence if you prefer. Or, listen to what happened that made you so upset. And then, enact justice on the bastard for his transgressions.
"The decision is yours, but if you tell me what happened here, I swear by my honor that I will help you,"

"I..I can't Wenda remains motionless but for a tremble throughout her body, her blank stare not leaving the spot on the ground to which it is fixed. "Nobody can know, I can't be seen like this" Her voice is filled with fear and guilt.
There had been no representation from House Middlebury at the tourney, Lord Oakhearts and his influence had cast enough of a pall on the evening than Lord Gareth and his goons adding to it. Speaking of Oakhearts, Robyn believes he remembers seeing Wenda in the company of Arys earlier in the evening, a nephew of Lord Walgrave about Robyn's age that had finished high in the squire's joust at Highgarden, and with charming ways that had given cause to no small amount of jealousy among his peers for the serving girls that seemed all too eager for adventure with him. They had spoken in hushed whispers and both had left shortly after, separately of course. It would seem likely to Robyn now that they had the intent to meet out of sight and hearing. Perhaps Wenda just had a romantic stroll in mind, with the added thrill of evading her guardians, while Arys had an entirely different idea and this disagreement became forceful? But they could not possibly have wandered off so far that any screams for help would not have alerted dozens of knights to a damsel in distress?

But, but, wouldn't the tourney master be cautious about such once rumor spreads about who will be likely found under the helm? Ysilla can't quite shake off the thought, her mind starting to go back to work, but whether on this scheme or some related one is hard to tell.
But this is why she needs sisters that thinks ahead, Daena doesn't seem too interested in these things, she is smart, but tries too hard to grow up too fast, the worst crime of all, always busy with that scroll, or this book, or hanging over Marq's shoulder to learn how to play the puppeteer in this silly game of thrones...it's not a game, people die, maids get married off to old and fat disgusting men for politics....though Marq claims he only plays pretends, something like, make people believe you are the great puppeteer and they will gladly attached themselves to the strings, whatever!
And when Daena actually play for fun, she plays tiles. TILES! Staring at those little wooden chips on a checquered board for hours? Maddening.

"My lady," Robyn's voice remained soft but had a growing sense of urgency, "If you do not tell me what happened then there is nothing I can do to help you. I know you are afraid, but without certainty I am only left with assumptions, and you know what they say about assuming, right?"
Robyn sat down fully, crossing his legs and shifting his head into her field of vision so that his eyes fully met hers, "How about this: if you cannot tell me, can you answer my questions by shaking your head? Would that be alright?"
He waited for an answer, but something felt... off. While he hadn't done anything to hurt her, and certainly would never do anything of the sort, if someone else saw them behind the wall and in her current state, well... Assuming things would probably be their first inclination, and the fact that the tensions of the festivities were already pointed against him didnt bode well for their response. He would probably be saddled with the blame, and accusing Arys would only add fire to the tension and do nothing but hurt his case.
But he couldn't leave the girl, and he needed answers to be able to do anything for her. Why must the right thing to do have the worst possible outcomes?

"You can't help me" she sobs, the tears makes her eyes glisten in the torchlight. "I'm sorry" Perhaps it may be prudent to go find someone from her family?
If Robyn wants her to do something else than sit and sulk, it's intrigue time...he could go get help, but I do see proud on the character sheet....she'll mostly be silent and unresponsive, so the mechanics would reflect how many "chances" Robyn gets to break her out of it, probably partial victory conditions, frustration count when one side wins determines how much he can manage, so can leave goal open-ended like "pull yourself together". If he sits there with her (without trying/succeeding on intrigue), act 3 will probably start without him being present. I hadn't considered a PC leaving her to get help, so that option might also alter my act 3 plans, I reserve the right to run with any new ideas that might occur to me if I like them better than what I had envisioned. Wenda Footly: ID: 11 DR: 3, +1 to persuasion. Composure: 12 Objective: Leave me alone (Convince) Initiative, Breeding vs passive will: 4d6 17 6d6k4 14Just +1 step for disposition, so probably no effect, Attractive would put her at +2 default, Robyn's disposition being +4 seems unlikely?

"If a rumour spreads about who exactly may be under the helm, it's perhaps more likely that they would seek out Lord Marq to trouble him over the matter, since he is your .. host. And I doubt you'd wish to be an .. inconsiderate guest. And should it be confirmed..." she sucks in her lips, and shakes her head slightly. "It would be very embarrassing for him. And many would suspect he deliberately sent you as part of one of his inscrutable schemes."An idea occurs to Laena. "The Game need not only be played for such stakes as thrones, however. Marrying young maids to old men, and so forth. It can also be played to expose wrongs and bring a bit of the Father's justice to this world. Such as exposing a woman's adultery and mariticide, as a .. hypothetical example." A slight smirk - her role in Lady Johanna's fate was hardly secret. "I understand the desire for thrills, although I seek them in a different way. And I, too, am no fan of those who are ... unnecessarily cruel. Tell me, what are your thoughts on the feud between sister Mya and Lady Denyse Cordwayner?"

Robyn was stubborn, especially when it came to helping where he thought was needed. He shook his head, "But I want to, my lady, cant you see that? Please, let me help you,"
Ok so in the nearly two years I have been playing, I have never actually done intrigue before! So bare with me as I try to understand... Does my Chivalry score get added to influence test, intrigue defense and composure, (which I believe is 5) or just +2 for Knightly Chivalry? I think that he is trying to kindness his way into this information, make her realize he is on her side and a friend utilizing Charm, but if that doesnt work for the circumstance, I imagine he will be using Convince to get her to tell him. Is that correct? And for DR, did you say that she had attractive? Or was that her DR changing because of his benefit? Objective: You can trust me to help you (Charm) ID: 11 (possibly 13 or 16 depending on Chivalry answer) DR: 3, +1 to persuasion Composure: 9 (11 or 14 depending on Chivalry answer) TAF: Act 2- Initiative: 6d6k4 18TAF: Act 2- Free Action Awareness (Empathy) VS Deception(act): 5d6k4 15Looks like I start, but I will wait for those answers before doing anything. If anything is incorrect, please let me know!

Intrigue bonus is +2. Convince would be the closest, unless you want to scare her (intimidate) or something like that. Charm is for making people like you, but doesn't help much to make her less paralyzed. Empathy is 1 DoS
