"KINGSBRIDGE!"Roland followed Addam's instructions from their previous planning, hoping against hope that the talented Velaryon could overcome Frey numbers. Lord Willem Starling had almost overcome the mighty Ser Benjen and Roland hoped to defeat him swiftly before turning on Ser Kevan or riding to Addam's aid. The Pink Monster meets the challenge with his blade raised to the cheer of the men of The Crossing, Knights of Summer down south might know how to joust, but the melee is for real men. Lord Starling had offered a strong fight, leaving Ser Benjen somewhat winded, but still a threat to almost anyone in the field.
Agility 3 Athletics 4 Awareness 4 Cunning 3 Endurance 4 Resilience 2, Stamina 2 Fighting 5 Long Blades 2, Lances 2 Will 3 Dedication 1 Tough, Talented (Fighting) CyB: 6d6k4 21So 5/12-2 fatigue Full Plate, Longsword, Large Shield, Destier, all superior. Will be taking fatigue to ignore AP on being attacked for as long as it lasts, because of though he won't yield before taking a wound.

Ser Benjen was a hulk of a man and quick with a blade, but Ser Roland was quicker to react. If he was lucky landing the first blow might be the start of turning the tide against the Freys. Lord's Work-Init: 3d6-3 9CD: 12 (15) AR: 10 Health: 5/12 W/I/F: 0/0/2 (tough)

With the momentum of his charge behind him, Roland dealt a mighty blow to the powerful Frey knight. As with his previous clash against the previous Frey knights he had to settle matters swiftly to aid his fellow Companions. CD: 13->15->17 AR: 11 Health: 11/12 I/W/F: 0/0/0 Fatigue to ignore AP if attacked. Charge Benjen Frey (LBF -2B): 8d6k4+3 26- 3 DoS = 3x8 = 24 damage -10 AR = 14 damage

The Pink Monster reels from the punishing blow, more used to delivering such attacks rather than receiving them. No matter, he wasn't about to let some pampered Southron knight defeat him so easily as he responded with his own wicked strike.

Roland returned the blow with even greater fervour - a duel with the two knights fresh would be a fine thing indeed! Still, there was only a moment for Roland to catch his breath after forcing his opponent to yield before he sought to break the Frey resitance by overcoming their remaining champion. There was a sickening crunch as several of Ser Benjen's ribs break under the force of Roland's assault. It wasn't the first time that the champion of House Frey had suffered such an injury, but he had no desire to suffer irreparable harm over a tourney melee. Throwing his arms up he yields to the Knight of Summer.

[OOC: Thanks for rolling, corrected my initiative roll as I hadn't accounted for Roland's Armour Mastery and Superior equipment. Gives a 13 all tie with Roland winning the tie break thanks to specialty dice. Action to follow later in separate post.]

With his comrades hard pressed Roland slammed in to Ser Kevan Haigh, proving a sliver faster than his able opponent and landing a strong blow. With fatigue to ignore AP and going cautious? Roland would be needing all 6's, so Kevan is risking that one for the team.

His house’s team was hurting with the entrance of Ser Roland, but if Ser Kevan could hold off the Starling knight long enough, the tide might turn back to their favor. He delivers a blow that rings against Roland’s helm, but does little more than that.
