[Found out my opponent is Ronald Vance of Vance Refrigeration.] Aerion rides around keeping an eye on his men and hoping none of them are in any dangerous situations. Ser Ronald Vance attempts to make a name for himself by engaging with the runner up from the joust. Lord of one of the Vance houses, Aerion can't quite remember which, Ronald is clad the part of one of his station, but can he match Aerion in skill as well as gear?
Secondary character, yields once it's theoretically possible that he'd have to take wound (which he can't) on the next hit. Agility 3 Animal Handling 4 Ride 2 Athletics 3 Awareness 3 Endurance 4 Fighting 4 Long Blades 2, Lances 2 Will 3 Dedication 1

Aerion watches as the man kicks his steed towards his direction, and instead of going on the offensive, Aerion prepares a counterattack based on the path the man would take to get to him, preferably a quick and decisive strike such that he con focus on watching the field for his team.
CD: 11 AR: 10 Health: 9/12 F/I/W: 0/0/0 To Hit: 7d6k5+2 (+1 Superior, +1 Mounted) Damage: 6

I looked for it in the mechanics thread and couldn't find it. Care to add it so that later when I forget about this scene I can find it in there?

With a load and proud "Hiyaa!" Lord Ronald spurs his coursers towards the Great Bastard. Ser Aerion was not the only one with king's blood upon the field today. The Vances had been amongst the first of the Andal Kings, who bent and broke the heathen First Men in the Conquest, first amongst the Followers of the Seven. His ancestor had been the anvil which had broken The Hammer of Justice and Lord Roland was not to be overseen. Is Lord Vance playing it smart? 1=Yes: 1d4 3 Nope, charges in. Should be +2 on the attack, because mounted, he also isn't so dumb as to not take fatigue to ignore AP.

As the man shouts his 'hiyaa' and spurs his horse towards him, Aerion waits for the perfect moment before kicking his heels into the sides of his own mount. Being bred by the best horsemen in the Seven Kingdoms, the beast leaps forward almost instantly. with the sudden jump forward, Aerion slams his sword into the side of the man's helmet, crumpling it into his face. P2.5 M2 R1 Counter Attack + Pious vs CD 10: 8d6k6+2 34 - 4 DoS 4 * 8 = 32 - 10 = 22 Damage That should be a defeat.

Might as well take defeat, could technically take 3 injuries and get his charge attack (which wouldn't do damage because of those injuries and fatigue) and then eat another attack that would probably defeat him anyway.

Lord Ronald's ears ring and his world goes dark as the helm buckles inwards. Unable to see he has no choice but to yield, lest the Great Bastard proves to be the less honourable sort.
Can take Injuries to stay in the fight but will most likely take a wound next round so yields.

Ser Ronald's swing lacks any power to do any damage, and Aerion is able to easily deflect is at the same time his blow lands. He watches the man slump forward in his saddle and hopes that he'll make it out with nothing more than a splitting headache as his horse continues forward until it arrives at the edge of the field by a few squires and a maester, who catch him from falling off and help him away.
