“That sounds about right. I don’t know her inner thoughts, but I don’t see her being the type to sympathize with Lord Eldon. That being said, I don’t see her openly crossing him without enough force and influence to ensure a complete victory.
Whatever his feelings about his sister, she wasn’t a fool.
“We had a bit of a disagreement when we last saw one another, and neither of us has been moved to forgive yet.”

"And of course, she is unlikely to be the first to apologise after a disagreement, I assume. I've been fortunate enough to remain on her good side so far. I could try to make an inroad for you to patch things up, if you like. I can't promise anything, but perhaps I can convince her that allyship is more important at the moment."

“Do what you believe is necessary. She will know exactly what’s going on if you approach her to ask about Lord Eldon, but perhaps she will help you regardless. Behind the scenes aid suits one who wishes to avoid the wrath of a powerful lord.”
He rubs his bandages and winces at the pain. He would need more Milk of the Poppy soon.
“In the meantime I will do what I can to bring men to our cause that I know aren’t his secret friends. I might not be the most beloved man at Whitewalls, but I can certainly bear a message to receptive ears.”

"Very well. I will do the same with the avenues available to me. If anyone asks what the specific plan is, do you want me to say anything in particular? With us likely being initially in different teams out of necessity, it seems to me that some manner of signal when the time is right would be pertinent. If we all coalesce into one team and head directly for him, there will be absolutely no way to hide what we're doing, and it will put him and any allies he has on alert. But if we can conceal the strike in the confusion and across perceived loyalties, like our respective Houses, for example, we stand a better chance of having plausible deniability."

"Do we need a signal? I feel like the instructions of attacking the Merryweathers should be obvious enough.
I've also learned from my experience in the melee at the Black Tourney that anything short of a dozen trumpets isn't likely to break through the din of combat. With a simple plan it gives each team the flexibility they need to make it to the Merryweathers using their own strengths and weaknesses.
Finally, a signal makes it seem like I'm giving orders, which I certainly am in no position to do for other teams. In my experience knights can be a bit prickly about such things, but by voluntarily recruiting them against a disgusting team of blackguards, they will very readily lend their swordarms to a just cause."

"Fair enough. As long as we go at him in enough number to overwhelm, it should be alright. It's when someone tries to go one on one with him that it goes in his favour."
Trystane can see Daeron's shoulder starting to sag and his slight grimace from the pain in it, so he readies to leave rather than impolitely hanging around. He wanted to know Daeron's side of the story about what Mikel had said on the way back from Kingsbridge, but it would need to wait. In honesty, part of him did not want to dig further and have to make a difficult decision.
"I should get to recruiting then. Take good care of that injury, brother. I expect Rennifer may try to exploit it if he gets the chance, so the better healed it is before the melée, the better."

“Aye, you are right in that. The melee isn’t a forgiving place for the healthy, let alone those who are already injured.
Take care brother. Eldon’s goons have already poisoned me once, they might try the same with you. Don’t consort with any women you don’t know or drink with men you don’t know. Lord Piggy is a dangerous man and will be working to negate any advantages or strategies that we might have, so likewise ignore any improbable rumors you might hear here. They’re as likely to be falsehoods or half-truths devised to divide us.”
